“I've been a member of Sound CU for many years. It is rare that I have to go into the branch unless I am using it for specific purposes such as getting a loan which I did a couple of days ago.
The employees are always welcoming, the branch is clean and signing off on documents is relatively easy. Lastly, it is not as filled with requirements to get a good savings or loan rate as many CUs are now wanting so many debit card transactions to get the best rates. Rates on loans,.CDs and related options are always competitive and often better.
For routine banking needs or loans, look no further!”
“Member for 12 years. I have used this location for several years. Always had a great experience. Recently I came in to get my daughter a debit card and had an extra great time. Today I went in with several questions and the 3 ladies working took the time to explain everything to me and it really helped my understanding of how the online banking system works. Manager called to apologize for the poor experience. We visited with Thuan on 9/15 and had a wonderful experience. This is the second time Thuan has helped us and we appreciate his kindness and assistance.
We arrived 5 min to close to open an account for our son. Gentleman in Mariners Jersey told us they could not help us because it’s five minutes to close and the transaction would take a lot longer to process. I thought BECU was member focused….. I guess this store needs some help understanding that they are providing a member service for banking and not serving hamburgers.”

“I found the Harley I had been looking for, Being a 2010, most credit unions would not financial it, The ones that would wanted 13% interest even though I have good credit. Alaska federal not only financed it, but did so for 4.75% I cant really say enough good about Aladka federal, Strongly recommend them for your financing needs!”

“I have been trying to get a loan from other bank for 3 weeks knowing that I was already approved and I am glad that I didn't get it. I decided to go to Sound Credit Union hoping to get a personal loan with a 7.5% interest rate. “I’ve paid off many cars and have had to go through all different types of banks for my loans. This one in particular has been really great and offered a low interest rate. They are very friendly and conveniently located. Drive through for banking and inside banking as well. The online site does charge about $10+ for paying online, and over the phone, so I usually go inside and pay. I like this place overall. Would recommend”
