“I’ve gone to Dave’s auto for many years, but over the summer, Edgar Vargas, a master mechanic purchased the business and opened it November 1, 2025.
I own a 1987 Cadillac Deville that belonged to my mother and is in pristine condition. Both the heater as well as radiator had gone out. I was hesitant at first because not all auto shops offer good service like Dave did. The engine had also been leaking a great deal of oil and I mentioned that to Edgar. Edgar fix the heater and radiator, but upon examining the engine, discovered that it needed to have a complete rebuild in order for the car to function properly. He called numerous shops in the area, but they ALL REFUSED TO REPAIR IT BECAUSE OF It’s AGE. EDGAR DIDN’T GIVE UP!! He’s having the engine rebuilt by someone in eastern Washington that he has known for 20 years and I am overwhelmed with gratitude. Edgar impressed me with his honesty plus showing me exactly what was wrong with the engine. He is very dedicated to his profession and I’m so thankful for him.”

“Our Honda had a water leak on the passenger door panel that caused water to seep into the car. Initially we took it to Lynnwood Honda but after spending a lot of time and money they deem it was not repairable and told us to go elsewhere. Luckily we were referred to Waterleak Techniques and the staff/owner was very helpful and got us into their schedule. They quickly accessed the situation and went above and beyond to not only fix the initial water leak we had but checked other doors and repaired those as well. It has been several months since the repair with no leaks. “I went to this repair shop, to my dismay. I usually work on my own cars, and the guy that worked there, Mike, instead of trying to make a buck, he gave me a tip about how to crack the bolt off a harmonic balancer. this guy has never lied about price and he has been honest about price from the beginning. I went back for a wheel hub on my 2010 f-150 and was willing to do both of them, but instead he took of both front wheels and inspected them. after inspection he said that only 1 was needed which saved me money. I have driven 50 miles on the new hub and no issues like I was having before. Before I was having a slapping noise from the driers side wheel. Mike is the type of mechanic that will only do what is needed and nothing more. The shop seems honest and will charge you what is needed to be done, not everything else that can be done. Over all, I give them a 5/5 because of honesty and the fact I was told how to fix my car without spending a dime.”
