“QFC is one of those grocery stores that feels a bit more polished than the usual big‑box stop. The produce is generally fresh, the bakery smells great, and the deli has plenty of quick, reliable options. Aisles are clean and easy to navigate, and the overall vibe leans calmer and more organized than many competitors. Prices can run higher, but the quality and selection usually justify it, especially for specialty items or nicer ingredients. It’s the kind of place you go when you want a smoother, slightly elevated grocery run without losing everyday convenience.”

“The grocery store is clean and the staff are friendly and helpful, which I really appreciate. The restroom, however, could use some attention, especially for a Bellevue location. There’s some writing on the walls, and it would help if everyone used the facilities properly and remembered to flush. Improving this would make the overall experience even better.”

“From the moment you walk in, you can feel the warmth and authenticity of a true Persian grocery store. Their selection is incredible—fresh herbs, high-quality saffron, fragrant spices, specialty teas, fresh bread, and hard-to-find Middle Eastern items that you simply won’t get anywhere else nearby.
The store is always clean, well-organized, and welcoming. The staff are genuinely kind, knowledgeable, and always ready to help you find what you need or recommend something new to try. You can tell they care about their customers and take pride in offering real Persian products with great quality.
Whether you're shopping for everyday ingredients, preparing a special Persian dish, or just exploring new flavors, Rose Persian Market is the perfect place to go in Bellevue. Highly recommended!”

“On December 25th, around 5 PM, my son and I were looking for an open restaurant in Kirkland and were just hoping to find good food. After not finding anything, a family downtown recommended Koza to us — and we’re so glad they did.
The food was delicious and the atmosphere was welcoming. We enjoyed it so much that a week later, for my son’s birthday, he asked to go back for lunch. Once again, it was a great experience.
Highly recommend!”

“Just had the most amazing experience at Trader Joe’s. I was simply running a quick errand and Kelly helped me find a couple of things with such positive energy, joy, and friendliness. If that wasn’t enough. John at the checkout register was the funniest and kindest person. I’ve met in a long time. Even though I live 25 minutes away, and have several other options, I might make this my new store for grocery shopping. Thank you Trader Joe’s for picking wonderful people and training them well.”

“There was a Trader Joe’s in Seattle closer to me but I loved coming to this one for its much better parking situation. Products are great and staff are friendly as always.”

“I love my local Trader Joe's! It's frozen meals are great for when my family is eating something I don't like for dinner. They have quality produce and seasonal treats as well! Everything is much healthier than most name brands over at Safeway. The protein bar selection is crazy good with a lot of different options too!!! Basically everything is really high quality and well kept, it's a great place.”

“Whenever we visit the Bellevue area, we always make a point to hunt down a Trader Joe's, and somehow we always stumble right into this exact location! It must be the convenient location, but we couldn't be happier with it.

The store is always incredibly clean and organized, making for a smooth trip every time. Finding free parking is a breeze here, which is a huge bonus for the area. On top of that, the customer service is consistently great—friendly staff who make you feel welcome. Easily one of our favorite spots to stop whenever we're in town!”

“Hands down 10/10! The owner is FREAKING AWESOME & the food is legit! Homemade and down right good!
It’s a must have! I promise you won’t regret it!”

“Well it's a trader Joe's, so of course the place is busy even though products and prices are good but not great, and all the people working here are some form of hip, cool, alternative & non confirmative”

“My go-to spot for a quick lunch break for delicious teriyaki, fried rice, and noodle dishes. I used to eat there often. THEY ARE DELICIOUS ! You can also grab any drinks you want ( alcohol or non alcohol ) since they have everything you would normally find in a convenience store or gas station mini mart.
They also have really delicious Spam musubi, and if you are heading to the gym, it is a great stop to grab quick boiled eggs or a protein shake. They pretty much have everything in one place, a restaurant next to it, a hot deli, and a mini mart.

They even have some Burmese ( Myanmar ) goodies and snacks displayed if you want to try something new and different. The owners are very friendly, which makes the place even better. It is definitely one of my favorite go-to spots. Lots of parking for your convince. Support local businesses ??”

“Definitely better prices than a majority of other grocery stores in or around Seattle. Only thing is it's not uncommon for them to be out of stock of some staple products, like cream of wheat.”

“A hidden gem for high-quality seafood and caviar!
I started coming here after a friend gave me their shishamo (smelt), and now I’m a regular.

The Shop:
Located in Bellevue, this place is officially called Awers Inc. (The Caviar Store). It doesn’t look like a typical retail store—it’s more of a warehouse/wholesale vibe—so it can be a little hard to find at first. However, there is convenient parking right in front, which makes it easy to pop in and out.

The Food:

Shishamo: My absolute favorite. The frozen shishamo here is consistently high quality and packed with roe. It’s incredibly savory and delicious!

Smoked Mackerel: I tried this on my recent visit and it was excellent.

Unique Finds: They also carry various Russian snacks and specialty items that you won't find at your average grocery store.

If you are looking for authentic caviar or high-quality frozen fish, this is the place to go. It feels like a local secret!”

“Everyone who worked here was friendly. They seemed to have a large staff working, and you could tell that they actually enjoy working here.
They offer a lot of variety for options and surprisingly have a lot of organic and good quality food for a great price! It’s not necessarily name-brand items, seems like more of small business items that are offered, but they’re great! A lot of product seems to have shorter shelf life, but it’s definitely long enough that you can eat it in time. I price checked a lot of my core items with near-by places and they are definitely cheaper and better quality ingredients. Pleasantly surprised by here and will definitely make it more of a frequent shop!”

“This store is amazing! What I love about it is that it’s got produce like you can never find ever before. And the prices are very affordable and sometimes I even wonder how that is profitable for them. This is definitely one of my favorite stores to shop at.”

“My favorite 24hr grocery and basics store - I work till midnight most nights so if I need milk or medicine or bread or anything, Winco is my spot. I've compared a few of them, and this Winco is the best in the region imo :) Love that it's employee owned, provides affordable and quality items, and lets me pop in at ridiculous hours <3”

“I love the selection at this grocery store, but it can get a bit crowded during weekends. They have great organic options, though, and the staff is pretty friendly. Just wish they had more checkout lanes open!”

“I had a great experience with the online shopping team here. There was some confusion with an item in the ad, but Gwen was incredibly patient, responsive, and helpful throughout the whole process. She checked with the meat department manager, kept me updated, and went above and beyond to help with my order. I really appreciate the excellent customer service and the extra effort they made.”

“Nice place, I haven't checked the restaurants, but they smell awesome! I went through the market and it was very clean, people are friendly. If you don't know any Asian languages, I suggest using Google translate app, it has a camera function with detect language! Just it from of the label and it turns it into your language.
Their bakery goods looked amazing, but I couldn't eat anything since I'm a Celiac.
You can get Peking Duck there!”

“Amazing selection, amazing quality, and amazing bread they make daily.

Only issue is it feels impossible to get some quality help by the workers, i asked 3 different people on where to get korean chilli powder and all 3 gave different isle recommendations 😅.”

“I have had nothing but fabulous experiences here at Kitchen and Market. The staff (Specifically Dani, Susan, and Krista) are always happy to help and I would even consider them friends. This store, though small, has a ton of options. I love the Milk Bread PB&J, the chicken salad sandwich and their rice crispy treats! I usually pop in here on my walks for a drink and a snack about 3 times a week, and have never had anything but a wonderful experience.”

4.7 Superb39 Reviews

“AMAZING food/beverages=[i.e., alcoholic and non alcoholic) selection; seasonal produce, & wonderful organic/vegetarian/vegan options and Milk alternativas galore! They even have amazing socks, skincare, and great parking! Convenient, safe location, & also beautiful plants/flowers/+ incredible desserts! Staff are friendly and helpful. You won't EVER be disappointed at this PCC!!!”

“This particular station can get crowded since it is a bit smaller than others. Going inside to pay or see a live attendant can be tricky at times as they seem to vary the hours on a whim.”

“loved this place! the quesa birria's were sooo good and the consome was so flavorful and rich! they also have salvadorian snacks which had me over my head. the employees were also super nice and accommodating.”

“This is what all grocery outlets should strive to be like, big and very clean and well stocked (the MLT grocery outlet on the other hand is too big/open to the point of being uncomfortable/ugly). Lots of open cash registers, love the lights indicating which ones are open or not. It was clean. And the decor made the place feel like it has a soul/the owner actually cares about making the store interesting looking.”

“I still miss the Houghton Market days in a real way—there was something about it that felt more local and unpolished, like it belonged fully to that corner of Kirkland in a way that’s hard to replicate once a place gets absorbed and refined.

Metropolitan Market kept a lot of the spirit, but it definitely shifted into something more elevated and curated. The bones are familiar, but the texture changed. That’s probably why it still hits nostalgia so strongly—you can recognize what it used to be underneath what it’s become.

And honestly, that’s why it feels a little frustrating there isn’t a stronger presence up north in Snohomish or Everett. It’s exactly the kind of market that would do well there: good prepared foods, strong deli culture, and a “treat yourself but also grab dinner” vibe that just isn’t really replicated in the same way in that area.”

“Excellent prices and friendly service, if you are staying in a Sea-Tac hotel. Avoid the mini-mart gas stations on International Blvd. Their prices are highway robbery.”
