“Good store selection and good sale event; ive been going for a while now and sadly the employees are a total hit or miss. Some are really sweet but most will look absolutely piss at the smallest requests. The store, maybe given its size, tends to run out of the sale things. The mark ups on some of the item are quite high; so when prices don’t line up with the label, which happens more often than not, it creates a lot of frustration and distrust on both ends.”

“The fresh vegetables here are much fresher than other asian markets. It’s worth braving the crowds just for that! Couple negatives to watch out for:
1) the hot food bar looks amazing but mostly tastes terrible. There are a few exceptions like the mushroom baos, but they are almost permanently sold out.
2) they carry very few Southeast Asian products.
3) most of the bakery items contain lard, so read the ingredients carefully if you are vegetarian or vegan.”
“Best produce from local farmers, fresh and very top quality. Never long lines and delicious definitely best hot food in town. People absolutely helpful and friendly, meat department and butcher top notch also usually hot samples of things they sell and very tasty pepperoni and sausage choices .”
“5 Stars is for the employees and their Customer Service, that seems to be a dying practice these days. That's why it's delightful when encountering employees who are pleasant and want to actually help you! Amazon Fresh employs them here! The Return Counter has the most patient, helpful people, ever. Cashiers are the same way.
The process by which you load your cart, then leave~ creeps me out. HOW do they know exactly what you have? What's beaming, where...? Oh, the things we have, scanning our bodies that we don't know about .... ?”
“Very kind staff. Very large variety of foods. I sadly but a cheeseless knafeh but it was still good. Baklava was okay, the syrup was not evenly distributed and some of the pistachios were overly toasted. Will definitely be back here!”
“I really like PCC. Last week I stopped in to purchase some kale, and it was an all-around moderately pleasant experience. Like all of the other produce on the floor (not literally) the kale was in good condition. It was the kind of kale that is great for, you know, just a simple in-pan sauté, or kale chips (if you’re adventurous… and your oven doesn’t smoke… lol). Sometimes I forget how satisfying something as basic as kale can be. A couple months back, I tried the kale quinoa deli salad from the Seattle location and that was also delicious and satisfying. If the parking situation here didn’t feel like entering a techno dystopian cave, I’d definitely go back.”

“This store is single-handedly run by Rain, at least the front of house is. I shop here only when Rain is working because she keeps the front of house in tip top shape unlike any store I’ve been to before. She should be store manager!!”

“I am a big fan of Protein Pucks - specifically the Mighty Moxie flavor. The are a healthy meal that I have every day for lunch with an 8oz glass of chilled almond milk. The are nutritious, low sugar, and taste great. They easily keep me full until dinner. I by them by the box - 8 at a time. Yum!”
“Technically it use to be an Albertsons and now is a Safeway. It was up the street from the house I grew up in. And I loved making trips to get snacks and one of my favorite things they carried was Marie Calendar peach cobbler pies. Unfortunately I have had a hard time finding them, not sure if they quit making them or they are only seasonal now, but it really makes me sad. I have seen the mini pie versions of it sometimes, but not the whole size pie. I do like their fried chicken deals it's pretty unbeatable at $4.99 for a dozen dark meat. And their baguettes are pretty good too, made fresh everyday in the bakery.”
“Not the greatest grocery store, but not the worst either. Not even the worst QFC really. Our QFC at Lake Hills is pretty decent. As with most grocery stores in the US, I wish the produce was higher quality, I wish that they had a better deli selection and more knowledgeable deli staff and a better meat case and more knowledgeable stuff. That said, the folks work in the these areas do their best and are very nice.”
“Convenient place in downtown, it's a regular size grocery store with very good produce section, dairy section, etc. You should be able to find what you are looking for. Also found the prices to be reasonable, and definitely become a card Member for additional savings and coupons”
“This Fred Meyers is a super store and Everytime I go there, I find new things that I didn't see before. One of the biggest reasons why I like this store is I don't feel like I'm being followed by loss prevention.. I'm sure they have people making sure that no one steals, they just do it well !! because I always know when I'm being followed.. But not here. The only feeling I get here is being Welcomed. “One of my favorite grocery stores. Right down the street from where I used to live. 5 minute drive. Never had any problems with it. Everything was right where I needed and expected it to be. Ample of starbucks nearby -- one inside and one drive through right outside -- which is great for a coffee addict like me.”
