“A small screw fell out of a kitchen cabinet hinge. Of course it disappeared. I removed the screw from another hinge so I could match it. Rather than go to a big box store and try to match it thru a plastic bag I went to Tacoma Screw. The counter person determined the screw size, went to the back and returned with a couple of the correct size screw. NO CHARGE. Tacoma Screw is now my go to place for tools and other household items I may need.”

“Profiled due to wearing a backpack. Front sign telling customers no backpacks allowed isn't very clearly seen and should be made LARGER and put somewhere more visible. I live in the area in an apt and wear a backpack when I go to the store to carry my items back home, nothing wrong with that and yet I will get profiled and followed half the time. I end up just confronting security right away so they know to back off, but that doesn't work every time, just most of the time!!”

“A big shout out to Home Depot employee Geoffrey Dickerson!The spousal unit and I were looking for a front door handle and dead bolt set to be installed on our new front door. We had the model picked out, but it was slightly damaged. Geoff came along and was able to get the same model from 3 shelves up and in the back.End of story? Nope. It's just starting. He could have just said "here ya go" and left us at that. But he gave us good advice why the brand we chose was better than other's they carried (all price comparable). Function and security are big in our book and how he described the lock more than checked that off. As a former 30+ year industrial salesman, I really appreciate when people in a store know their inventory and products. That's good, old time sales craft that is so often lacking in on-line and big box stores these days.Thanks again, Geoff!!”

They let you pickup gas refills and call back with payment. Having problems with a machine you bought from them? They'll troubleshoot and make suggestions, and if the person who answers the phone can't help, they'll get you in touch with a tech. They are one of a few remaining businesses offering consistently excellent customer service.”
