“I just want to say thank you so much to Mclendon Hardware staff in Renton. You can tell this business is still family owned.
They were able to order the specific grill and model that I wanted to get. The grill arrived in one week which was way faster than I thought it would be. Bob called me every step of the way and also made sure that my boyfriend and I were confident in our purchase. Upon picking up the grill, we realized that our car was a little too small. No problems there because a gentleman named Kenny at Mclendons offered to deliver the grill for us the same evening. We paid for the delivery which I also thought was very reasonable. Kenny was very careful and kind upon delivery. We couldn’t have done it without Mclendons. Thank you guys!”
“This is solid Ace Hardware! They are bigger than some of the smaller versions of the store that I am used to seeing in Seattle, but they still lack the size and inventory of a large hardware store like Home Depot. I found the staff to be polite and helpful as I navigated the store looking for specific products. The store also has a large outdoor and garden section. The pricing is comparable to any hardware store.”
“Great having a new Home Depot this close. Convenient and easy. Update. I am always on the lookout for a good deal. Their clearance items are spread out, disorganized and hard to find but I have gotten some really good deals”
“Ace Hardware in the Renton Highlands is well-run. Both online and in-store shopping are quick and easy. The associates are always helpful, knowledgeable and pleasant.”
“Customer service was good, but they sold me a damaged board and wouldn’t allow me to return it. It is partially my fault. I told them to go ahead and put it in my truck but instead of noting and siting the the damage cus I was in a hurry even though it was only 2 days ago I was in a rush and just went about my day. Until I seen the extent of the damage when unloading. when I went to make the return they acted as if that never occurred. And said no, I could not make the return and there would be no other compensation. Well, I understand this is partially my fault. Some type of compensation would’ve been appropriate. I did not even receive a discount on the item that I purchased. There needs to be a better system for damaged goods so that the customer is screwed in the process. Not happy with this outcome whatsoever, and I truly feel like they could’ve done better and can do better in future situations
Update: a manager did go back and research that the damage did occur and It got approved and moved through. They credited the damage. This is a sufficient outcome. While I think this could have been resolved better in the moment. I do think that situations where your selling a product that may be unreturnable due to its damaged nature should be cited and either sold for a lower price or noted for easier returns. I think this once again was a sufficient outcome I thank you to the team for coming back and taking care of this situation.”
“We had such a great experience at Lowe’s thanks to Quentin. He went above and beyond to help us load all the items we purchased into our car, and he did it with such a positive attitude. He was incredibly friendly, patient, and professional.
His customer service was outstanding — he helped us find everything we were looking for quickly and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. Employees like him truly make a difference. Thank you again, Quentin, for the excellent service.”
“These individuals demonstrate expertise, reliability, and cordiality. I have experienced numerous positive interactions resulting in satisfaction. They uphold their commitments and treat clients with respect. It is an excellent establishment for purchasing parts and gaining knowledge. Although they do not host training sessions, they inform customers of upcoming educational events for plumbers. My preferred contact here is Mr. Darren.”
“Compton's been my go to for big home jobs for some time. We're redoing our deck and the team there was great to work with. We ended up going with Trex and couldn't be happier.”
