About Columbia Station Carrier Annex
Based on the reviews, Columbia Station Carrier Annex is a processing location, not a typical post office. Customers can drop off pre-labeled packages, pick up missed deliveries, and retrieve certified mail, but should not expect to buy stamps or pay for postage. A key downside is finding the front door, as it is behind a gate in a poorly maintained courtyard, and visitors must ring a doorbell to be let in. The staff is described as super friendly, quick with help, and exceptional, with one person noted as being polite, concerned, and helpful. However, the location is often short-staffed, and there is usually only one person in at a time, so customers may need to wait a few minutes. Parking can be tough, and walking along MLK is not pleasant. For standard services, customers should go to the Columbia City location near Alaska & Rainier. Overall, reviewers advise going in with patience and a positive attitude.

Closed when they should be open. rang Bell, knocked on door, waited 7 minutes, called throughout the day to be met with a recording that they're closed.

The phone was answered promptly today when the outgoing message was finished, and I received great help from Brian about a delivery issue. He called me back immediately after he did a bit of research. Brian was polite and concerned, and I really appreciate that.

Best USPS I've been to by far. Most the time it's annoying and I leave without my package. Super friendly, quick with help. Downside is finding the front door.
