“I’ve had storage units here since 2019. My 5 stars is my review of Pascale and Amy who provide great customer service and management. They’re friendly, thorough and do their best within the boundaries of their job. Honestly they are why I am still there because unfortunately since 2019 I’ve had rent increases twice a year in the 30% range each time. Beyond any inflation figures. I’ve had to downsize my unit considerably because of these unreasonable increases. After scouting other storage facilities, some that are brand new nearby I realized how much more expensive Public Storage is. I recommend to anyone that they read the fine print on rent increases. If it says periodic they can do it whenever they want. Find a place with an annual increase only, and they’re out there. Of course, it’s a pain to move, but Amy was able to contact upper management and maintain my current rate for three months more. Short term solution but I sure appreciate Amy and Pascale doing their best for me.”

“I chose this place because I'd seen good reviews for their sister location, and everything with my set up went relatively well. Both people who assisted me, Connie and Warren were really friendly, especially given I came in right before closing. They laid out all the information clearly and answered my questions. The cart issue in the other review was mentioned, but I believe customers have access to the carts again. Honestly, when it was mentioned that a cart has seemed to go missing for a bit, I took it more as being observational which is something I'd want the workers to be doing. I will give any updates in the future as I have just become a customer.”

“As far as storages go, it's got great hours [open to 11pm every night]. The staff is really laid back and don't come check each unit every 30 minutes and don't bug you while you're tending to your belongings. They don't care if you are sitting and taking a break... like public storage. They have a bathroom to use during office hours . You are supposed to be out by 11, but if you lose track of time and are there to 12, they don't seem to mind this. There is ample parking that is covered. Your not supposed to use their trash bins, but after hours I always sneak a few things in there... no problem. The units are very secure. The tenants are very respectful and quiet and private. They have many carts for moving your stuff [not just 2 broken ones]. So overall this place has a great sign up incentive [extra months or cheaper price]. They have never once raised the rental fee since being there for 5 years now. I keep to myself and they to theirs and aside from its storage in Seattle which is expensive and a waste of money no matter how you look at it ..... but if you gotta choose a place.... I feel this is a fair bet! You won't be dealing with petty bs like most of them do and I'm very appreciative of this.”

I was super nervous about theft, pests, mold, and all of the things I wasn't even thinking of. My belongings were stored here from July, 2019 to September, 2020 and I have nothing but great things to say about Seattle Self Storage. The staff were helpful and friendly with every interaction. The access hours are limited but that's because of the security measures which I found comforting because the area is pretty sketchy. I chose to manually pay every month rather than auto-debit but the process on the website is easy and intuitive. Most importantly, when I collected my belongings they were ALL just as I'd left them over a year before. No pests, no mold, no theft. I would highly recommend Seattle Self Storage.”

“Love the ways the lights come on as I come down the hall and turn off behind me. love the fact that this place is heated in the winter, and air conditioned in the summer. I love the fact it's all indoors so when I pull inside the building I can unload my truck without being rained on! however ... the hours are not as easily available for me to get in and out. it closes fairly early in the evening, earlier on Sundays, and it's not open on holidays, which tend to be the main day that I can get in and out of there and have off... ::sigh:: but they're not open. if you're a minute late getting out past 7:00, you are locked in the building! Great building, great prices, great security, sucko access to my own stuff.”
