“The folks at Harborstone are the getting for customer service.I got right in to see them about a loan. My credit cards were at 25%, 20% & 19%! Less than an hour I consolidated my credit cards and received an 8.99% loan. They saved me over $1000.00 in interest! They were so down to earth. I'm going to be changing my current bank account & go with them. Try Harborstone, you won't regret it!”

“I was at this bank and had the most caring Gesa bankers help me when I fell down. They are not only amazing bankers but the best people too. They didn’t want me to drive so a banker took me home all the way out of his way. I will always be thankful and recommend them. If you need a bank go with Gesa… especially the south center branch!”

“Quiet, with friendly and straightforward service. Gina T. was very helpful.I also appreciate Sound’s app. It is easy to use and comes in handy when I need to check my account details or pay bills. My experience with Sound has been so much better than my experience with banks.”

“I had a fraudulent that I didn't get all the answers that I needed so I went to this branch and talked to Amanda and she was amazing. She got on the phone and printed out the paperwork that I needed to fill out and helped me to fill it out. Everything was taken care of within a couple of hours. She even called me the next day and give me more info for something else that did not relate to fraudulent.”

“I can't tell you how great this bank is....I had to set up an estate account and am clueless regarding anything to do with finances. I had tried at another bank but came back to Tukwila. I had always banked there and had such good experiences I though, even though the estate was in another state I could at least know that the staff were good. Ashnil and Rob Williams (manager) set me up, explained the process so I understood it and were both kind and fun to work with...always available to answer all of my weird questions. I learned alot about how convoluted the system is and how good it is to have a bank that is able to walk you through all of the baloney. Between Asnil, Rob and Jose I was able to get through a ridiculous process without losing all of my sanity!! Thank you guys for your help!”

“I've been a BECU member for 3 decades or so. I like that my deposits are circulating back into the local community rather than extracted by a corporate bank with headquarters out of state. Credit unions are more equitable than corporate banks are with their excessive fees, predatory loans, etc. As a small business owner, I was disappointed to find out recently that there are no more deposit drop boxes in the Seattle area (only at Tukwila and maybe Everett?) and yes, the lines at the main office in Tukwila can be very long, but these are small matters compared to the benefits I receive at BECU.”

“I had such a great experience at this Chase branch recently, and I honestly wasn’t expecting to walk out feeling genuinely impressed. I came in needing a cashier’s check and was a little annoyed about a small fee, but the teller took the time to walk me through my options and was incredibly patient about it. While I was waiting, I ended up chatting with the branch manager, Thorn, and that’s when it really clicked why this branch runs as smoothly as it does.

You can tell immediately that she leads from the lobby…not from behind a desk. She was out there directing traffic, checking in with people, keeping the energy calm, and making sure everyone felt taken care of. It wasn’t performative; it was just how she naturally manages. Watching her interact with customers and her team made the wait feel quick, and the whole environment felt organized and warm, which is rare in banking these days.

It’s clear that the staff is confident and empowered because of the way she leads. This is one of the few branches where you actually feel the difference good leadership makes. I left with my cashier’s check handled smoothly and with a whole new appreciation for how much work goes into creating that kind of customer experience. Highly recommend this location.”

“I have been with Key Bank since 1984.
They have been there for me always.
From getting scams, having my card stolen, to even being robbed at gunpoint at the White Center walk-up.
I'll always be with them. I'm with the Burien branch now and have been for 30 years. Great customer service in bank and on line. Thanks for all the times that I got my money back in my account from Key. Lifetime customer”

“I would not understand why this branch has a bad review rating. Actually I went to other 2 locations that really did not do good customer service when I visited with my cousin to help him open a bank account. However, this location was a great exception and the staff went above and beyond. The lady who was asking people the reason why they came, approached us and asked us next. I knew why I was there and I knew I would be able to do it, but I did not know that banks still get busy nowadays with transactions that people need help with, so eventually I wanted to see if someone was available without an appointment. She made sure to see if my cousin had the required documents to actually be able to be helped and she even ask to take a look at them which the others we previously went did not even bother. She said that we had everything and that they could squeeze us one hour later. I was glad because we just went to grab lunch and we came back since the mall was close. If not a resident and not social, you need your passport, your matricula consular and ID with the address that you are living at. Also, must likely will need to make a call and have a scheduled appointment, 2 years of work experience and some cash to deposit (could be any amount). If coming for this, go to Maribeth Manlimos, she took care of us. She went through everything I mentioned and did an excellent job and did not take too long. We also met Bell who came to check on us and how we were doing and then helped us to deposit the amount my cousin was going to deposit for the first time. I did not ask for the first lady’s name to shout out but, regardless I appreciated her help. The place is going through some renovation so watch your steps out. The offer translator for Spanish, but call to see when she is in! Lots of Hispanics come here and I bet she is always busy when onsite.

Tienen traductora pero ella tiene días libres así que pregunten cuando estará ella y también su tiempo disponible, o vengan con alguien que les pueda traducir!

Thank you so much to the staff who helped us!”

“I walked into the credit union with questions about an auto loan and left feeling incredibly informed about their wide range of products and services. The staff, particularly the representative who assisted me was immensely knowledgeable and patient. Definitely worth going to this branch and seeing how they can help or what they offer!”
