Nail trims can be really stressful for her, but they make the whole experience feel easy and comfortable for both of us. You can tell they genuinely care about the dogs they work with. They were respectful of where we were at and kind and considerate throughout the process. They even went above and beyond for us including bringing a gurney out since our dog was unable to walk. Thoughtful, caring, respectful, above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and took care of our furry family member as if he was their family member too.

The Happy Dog Chaotic Canine class gave us great tools to begin to change his behavior. The instructors are so supportive and calm. They provide great one to one feedback and training suggestions we hadn't thought of. I highly recommend this group of trainers.

Top Dog Daycare
2900 29th Ave SW E1, TumwaterMy dog and I love Top Dog! He hears the word “daycare” and gets so excited that he does a victory lap around the car before jumping in. He’s 70 lbs of chaos, but he is adequately worn out by the end of the day. They communicated clearly during his first few times there to share how he was adjusting. It was recommended to me by a friend who had spent a couple of hours observing in the facility before enrolling their dog, and they spoke highly of the methods they observed. They are also very understanding. Right after I bought a 10 day pass, I unexpectedly took medical leave, meaning I didn’t need to use daycare as often, but they let me extend the expiration and use all of my passes. I have also been stuck behind a crash in traffic and they were very understanding!

I wanted to try something new and asked her to surprise me with a hot coffee, with coffee forward flavor and not to sweet. She made the perfect drink. She said it was brownie batter 'less sweet.'
Lately I've been disappointed with coffee stand orders because it tastes like hot water with the essence of coffee. Not here. My drink was full bodied, rich, smooth and sooo delicious. I wish I lived closer, this would be my new go-to.

114 E St SW, TumwaterBeen going to this bar for years and they rarely disappoint! No fried foods, which is a bummer, but the drinks and atmosphere more than make up for it.
I WILL say though, the best bartender is easily Jennifer. She's AMAZING and always has good attitude. The rest can be moody and inconsistent.

2030 Mottman Rd SW, TumwaterThis was a classic bar and restaurant, with pool tables, booths and tables. Its classic diner menu fit on a little placard. Daily meal specials are posted high up on one wall (on posters reminiscent of the way grocery specials used to be hand lettered on butcher paper, if you are old enough to remember the beautiful writing on those). For different reasons, my son and I are vegetarian. It was great to see you could have a burger be a garden burger. As someone who can't digest meat very well, I would have liked to have been informed that the chili on the chili burger included meat (since the details aren't on the menu, and two of us ordered that with garden burgers). However, the traditional fare was tasty and well-prepared. My friend enjoyed her steak.
