In the past we’ve tried trazodone, Benadryl, and gabapentin, but nothing has worked as well as this. Thank you so much for the recommendation! My dog is finally calm without being completely out of it.
We’re on our way to a hike before the fireworks start tonight, and I’m feeling so much more confident she’ll have a happy, stress-free evening. Happy poodle, happy owner! 🐩❤🎆

They were able to get me in the same day, and the staff was very helpful and caring in assisting me with the details for the dogs' stay. The kennel's facilities were clean and well-maintained, and they offered a variety of services including grooming and playtime. My two dogs had never been to a kennel before, so I was apprehensive about their well-being. I had no reason to be worried, as when I picked up my two dogs a week later, they were happy and smelled great! I will definitely be relying on Gig Harbor Kennel Groom & Board in the future and highly recommend them.

Prison Pet Partnership Program
9601 Bujacich Rd, Gig HarborWe can’t thank Prison Pet Partnership enough for the care they gave our three dogs while we were out of town.
Our senior dog typically gets very stressed when we’re away, and this was the first trip where we didn’t feel like we needed to rush home early. Our youngest was also boarding for the first time and refused to eat at first. The instructors called us right away and worked with us to figure out a plan.
When we picked them up, we were so touched to learn that one participant had bonded with our dogs and even came in on her days off to hand-feed our youngest until she felt comfortable eating.
That level of compassion and dedication is rare.
The suggestion to have them groomed before pickup was the perfect finishing touch. They came home tired, relaxed, and spotless.
We are incredibly grateful for the care, patience, and love shown to our dogs.

We just had her at Bed Bark and Beyond for a week while we visited the UK, and she was in perfect shape when we picked her up. When we started here, they made sure she would play well with all other dogs by having her for a complimentary afternoon. Since then, she loves to go to doggy daycare. She just plays, and plays, and plays! Super essential to have the secure fencing, too. I so appreciated the photos along the way, including this one! Cute place and very kind staff who love and understand dogs.

I ended up selecting three types of sandwiches, chocolate croissants and two types of cake. Everything was prepared and packaged well for pick up. The food was delicious. All of my guests were pleased. Next year, I plan on Susanne's Bakery again. Also, lots of stops in between for a sandwich or slice of cake. I highly recommend this establishment.

For starters, the egg roll was perfect and so tasty, one of the best I have ever eaten. Our party had orange chicken, Generous Tso chicken, teriyaki chicken, and broccoli beef. The chicken was fresh and meaty, moist, very tender; each separate dish was excellent. A salad and rice was included with each dinner dish. The portions are generous. Highly recommend.

She took the time to recommend some amazing kid-friendly tide pooling spots in the area, and her local tips made our day even more special. She also offered my kids gummy snacks, which absolutely made their day and put big smiles on their faces. It’s those thoughtful little touches and genuine kindness that set this place apart. If you’re looking for great coffee and even better service, this is definitely a must-stop!

We came for a girls weekend and she gave us all the best recommendations and plans for our trip. Then, we left the bar to go to dinner at one of the restaurants she recommended and she showed up nearly 40 mins later since someone in our group had left their hat behind at the bar. That’s true small town hospitality thanks to a truly great bartender!

As far as food, I have severe intolerances to dairy and gluten as well as nut allergies and ordered the GF hand tossed crust with no cheese. The initial pizza was mistakenly made with the standard gluten crust but the waitress was very quick to realize the mistake when I asked and the chef himself brought out the remade pizza and explained the ingredients and process involved to make sure it was safe for me and offered a complimentary app to my partner who had finished eating his pizza by the time my food arrived. Overall satisfied with how they handled the mistake and I enjoyed the food greatly.
