In the past we’ve tried trazodone, Benadryl, and gabapentin, but nothing has worked as well as this. Thank you so much for the recommendation! My dog is finally calm without being completely out of it.

They were able to get me in the same day, and the staff was very helpful and caring in assisting me with the details for the dogs' stay. The kennel's facilities were clean and well-maintained, and they offered a variety of services including grooming and playtime. My two dogs had never been to a kennel before, so I was apprehensive about their well-being. I had no reason to be worried, as when I picked up my two dogs a week later, they were happy and smelled great! I will definitely be relying on Gig Harbor Kennel Groom & Board in the future and highly recommend them.

Prison Pet Partnership Program
9601 Bujacich Rd, Gig HarborWe can’t thank Prison Pet Partnership enough for the care they gave our three dogs while we were out of town.
Our senior dog typically gets very stressed when we’re away, and this was the first trip where we didn’t feel like we needed to rush home early. Our youngest was also boarding for the first time and refused to eat at first. The instructors called us right away and worked with us to figure out a plan.
When we picked them up, we were so touched to learn that one participant had bonded with our dogs and even came in on her days off to hand-feed our youngest until she felt comfortable eating.
That level of compassion and dedication is rare.
The suggestion to have them groomed before pickup was the perfect finishing touch. They came home tired, relaxed, and spotless.
We are incredibly grateful for the care, patience, and love shown to our dogs.

She took the time to recommend some amazing kid-friendly tide pooling spots in the area, and her local tips made our day even more special. She also offered my kids gummy snacks, which absolutely made their day and put big smiles on their faces. It’s those thoughtful little touches and genuine kindness that set this place apart. If you’re looking for great coffee and even better service, this is definitely a must-stop!

3117 Harborview Dr, Gig HarborEvery time I visit the downtown marina area in Gig Harbor I've been meaning to try the Trolley @ the Boatyard. It's aesthetically cute and the trolley concept alone draws you in with curiosity. It's only outdoor seating, but they do have some umbrellas and a small tented area for the wet and cold season. I ordered the Cuban-style hamburger with a side salad and my husband ordered a fish n' chips with halibut. The staff are also friendly and it gives a welcoming small town restaurant vibe. I opted for a side salad instead of fries, and I wish they'd put the salad separate from the burger. It made the salad hot and soggy. I didn't end up finishing the salad. The burger was spectacular though! You can have the meat cooked how you want (pink, some pink, no pink) and it comes stacked with meat and toppings. I wish I would have asked to cut it in half, too. The meat really leveled up the burger, seasoned and cooked well. My husband enjoyed the halibut, but hoped the pieces would have been a bit larger. They had a good batter and flavor. It's a must visit place if you're in Gig Harbor; good food and a unique atmosphere.

We came for a girls weekend and she gave us all the best recommendations and plans for our trip. Then, we left the bar to go to dinner at one of the restaurants she recommended and she showed up nearly 40 mins later since someone in our group had left their hat behind at the bar. That’s true small town hospitality thanks to a truly great bartender!
