80 NE Estes Ave, White SalmonThis bakery is extremely popular. They have a wide variety of delectable pastry options to select from. I am a big fan of the raspberry-rhubarb galette. The dough bakes up so flaky and the compote is lovely with it. There are ready to go options for breakfast and lunch or you can order from the menu. and of course, the bread loaves. You can even order local beer to go with your meal. There are tables to sit in and also a semi-protected patio outside to eat at. It does get quite loud inside when it is bustling and can be difficult for me to hear conversations. I cannot do meetings here. But for casual drop in grab and go it works fine. They are usually well staffed to keep the line moving. They work hard to offer so many tasty items to their customers. This business is a gem.

Everybody's Brewing
177 E Jewett Blvd, White SalmonLast night I tried Everybody's Dream Boat IPA and it is THE BEST IPA anywhere, anytime! The taste is truly light and refreshing and truly so delicious that I made a point of taking a pic of the container so that I will not forget it. So glad I came across it at Trader Joe's. Also nice is knowing the brewery is just out the river, so good deal.

216 E Jewett Blvd, White SalmonPixán in White Salmon is an absolute must if you are in the Hood River area! The tacos and drinks are incredible and the staff are genuinely kind and accommodating. They answered the phone, were helpful, and had no trouble working with a severe peanut allergy.
It is also a wonderful spot for families with great booths and plenty of space for little ones to move around. Make the short trip across the river, you will not regret it!
