CharlestonWe’re big fans of Melinda and Elite Pet. We started with one-off classes that are great for beginners. She teaches you how to interact with your dog and coach behaviors, which can be the most important part. Now we’re doing day academy and working through grade-level curriculum. She does a great job of working with your dog’s individual needs. Chewie always get excited about going even though he has to (stubbornly) work for treats.

She is arthritic and staring to have doggie dementia. Jessica and the entire staff assured me that she would be OK. I picked her up today and I just want to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for watching after my little girl. I would not take her anywhere else and I trust in their care 100%

They were very patient and detailed when explaining procedures and options to me and even texted me the day after to check in and see how my cat was doing after her vaccines. The cost of the appointment was far less than I initially expected and I thought it was very fair. I can tell how much they love and care about animals here and I'm more than happy to come back.

Tonya, especially, and Dr Tackett were so wonderful to me today. My cat went into respiratory distress last night and had to be on oxygen for well over 12 hours. They did xrays and tests, and they got to the bottom of everything, got the medicine started, and I've just got her home. Thank you for being so compassionate at a time I couldn't even think straight.

224 Haines Branch Road, CharlestonThe missus and I stopped here on a whim while in Charleston. After driving up the long steep hill, we found a place with excellent wines, moonshine, and whiskey. The staff was extremely friendly, and the booze prices were more than reasonable.
If you're in or around the area, this is a somewhat hidden gem off the beaten path.
Even if you're not a drinker, the views are spectacular.

Phat Daddy's on Da Tracks
1634 6th Avenue, CharlestonMy wife and I made a trip out to WV for work, decided to stop here for lunch on our way back home (to make sure we had something local,) and this was the luckiest choice I think we could've had! Everything was delicious and fresh, staff was made up of some of the friendliest people we have ever met!
P.S. if youve never had chicken livers and are curious, this is absolutely the place to do it!

I’m proud of this place somehow managing to stay open with the livelihood of the mall surrounding it. The woman here has worked here for at least since I’ve been coming to the mall on my own 10 years ago. I hope they continue to thrive.

We got a platter with the pulled pork, pulled chicken and brisket, our sides were potato salad and hashbrown casserole. All of it was excellent! Great service as well. Atmosphere is definitely something new, indoor and outdoor seating with also steps down to the river!! Would 100% recommend this place to anyone around!!
