“Very good store but sometimes the lines are long because there are no self checkouts. I prefer the interaction with the clerks who are very friendly. The only downside is that the buggies are big and heavy to push.”
“Kelsey in the front is the bomb!!!! Shes so sweet..and doesn’t act like helping someone purchase tobacco products is an inconvenience like the one on Athens road does.”
“Quick and friendly cashiers
Pulling to a pump is generally easy not to forget you can use fuel points earned from in-store shopping to deduct money off each gallon of gas”
“i always get good clearance deals there.
their ok price wise but produce could last longer wish they had more options available
if you need dietary restrictions low sodium low fat low carb they don't have many other alternatives also regular items tend to be pricey but if you need bread milk eggs or some hamburger meat they're ok to run in grab a couple must haves
they have some lower cost dog chews and treats too”
“Just a small country like hometown gas station that's been around since I was a kid. It's located in front of Princeton Village Apartments off of Low Gap Rd. The staff have always been down to Earth and friendly and the store itself has a friendly and clean atmosphere.”
“If I can get a cart to ride since I have bad knees, I enjoy my Kroger shopping. I usually begin at the vegetable section, the deli, cold cuts, then I go to drinks and up and down each aisle from there. My last experience was not a good one because of the remodeling and restocking procedures going on n”
“Of 6 different Walmart locations within an hour of my home, this one is by far the best. It is unquestionably the cleanest, always friendly staffed, always well stocked and orderly, and very easy to get through. I cannot express enough how much I appreciate the staff at this location and all that they do.”
“I can get basic groceries and household needs. Most of the things that I buy on a regular basis they carry and you cannot be their prices! The grocery side is compact, which I love. If I need milk or eggs I can go in there, get what I need and get out quickly. I know some of the employees, which is nice.”
“If by chance that the store is closed before 10pm, I can promise that there is a very good reason. It is so hard to find people that will work. When employees call in and leave only 1 associate to close, that becomes a security problem. Their safety is very important and with the store being right off the interstate, it is a prime target. They absolutely hate closing before 10pm but if it happens, I can guarantee that it is an emergency. There is a new GM and she is amazing. She will work from open to close and takes pride in her store. I can guarantee that customers will start seeing improvements.”
“I have some stomach issues and I have problems eating most foods but I can get sliced turkey from the deli and make delicious sandwiches. But the best part is the Private Selection Hawaiian bread. It's a little more than other brands but worth it!”
“This place is close to Concord university so I guess for alot of people it's in a good location the selection is large the only downside to this place is that the aisles are very narrow but if you are looking for a cheap place and don't want to drive to princeton or bluefield to shop I would recommend this place”
“We visited this DG while staying at Pipestem. We live outside of Charlottesville, VA, about 4 hours away. My husband went one evening without us and he told me I needed to see this store. We have frequented DGs and Dollar Trees all over the USA. This DG is by far, the best we have visited. It was a combination of Dollar Tree, DG, small grocery store, and a camp store.
They have everything we needed and I was delighted to find stocking stuffers for my 3 kids and beautiful Christmas gift tags.
Thank you for this pleasent surprise! We would definitely return when visiting Pipestem again.
Great job General Manager and associates!
God bless you and have a wonderful Thanksgiving and Christmas season!”
