One of my kittens wasn’t feeling well and they got me right back in as soon as they were open. They got her treated and got her feeling better with no extra charge! Highly recommend!

I am very grateful for the staff and will definitely recommend to others. It been a terrible struggle not having an emergency vet in the area and many clinics even if you are a client are refused.

The staff here really cares about not only your pet, but you as well (going through health problems myself). They are attentive, super friendly and do a great job. I was so fortunate that they got my dog in the same day, treated her injuries, and made sure she was doing okay during all of her follow-up appointments. I really appreciate the kindness of the staff and Dr. Kuchyt.

1420 Staunton Ave, ParkersburgCute and cozy little restaurant with fun food and nice staff! Great for a pitstop on a road trip, or maybe a fun date. Kinda like a shack or food truck where you get hotdogs, burgers, and grilled cheeses. Definitely try the Mackey Mountain Burger with a vanilla root beer float! The “Taco in a Bag” is a gluten free (obviously, like all walking tacos) though it was served in bowl not the bag haha. Glad we stopped here!

600 Broadway Ave, ParkersburgCan't beat it for the money,been going here since I was little with my Dad and now I take my kids...It's been here for years for a reason, it's a known and loved landmark in Parkersburg...Simple sells, and it's cheap! Many years ago it hosted plate dinners for workers in the area but now it's just your basic hamburger and hotdog shop. Edit: it’s been 10 yrs since my last review. The prices have gone up dramatically, they take debit now, which is sad. Always appreciated the cash only. I don’t mind a little updating but I was there the day they took out the juke box, sad, now they continue redo the inside and clearly trying to add new stuff. They should’ve left it the way it was. I rarely ever go now because of their prices and the changes have taken some of the nostalgia away. Sad to say, but if the prices don’t go back to what they were pre C19, then I give this place 2 maybe 3 years to survive with these higher prices. It’s not worth it at those prices, and the nostalgia is rapidly disappearing. I’m not here to argue about it. It’s just my opinion. This place was a staple for me and my kids… so it’s sad for me to anticipate its demise. Even their service hours are jacked up now. And they’re serving nacho cheese….. if I say I want cheese on my hotdog, I want it the way it’s been made for my 42 yrs on this earth, with sliced cheese. Do I make it that way at home, no. But that’s ALWAYS how it was at Slop Shop. I don’t want asked if I want nacho cheese. Why do you all feel the need to have nacho cheese??? STOP changing things. Stop trying to “update” or whatever you think you’re doing. You are ruining it. And it makes so many of us terribly sad and disappointed.
