“I call myself a “motel nomad” and have been inside many different rooms across the greater Milwaukee area. I’ve stayed at the big chains as well as many random small ones that don’t even have an online presence.
With that said, Studio 6 Extended Stay (Brookfield) is by far and away the absolute BEST place I have stayed and here’s why:
The room size is absolutely gigantic for the price, so much space to make your stay into a place of peace. This includes a huge dresser, a huge closet, so much storage and cabinet space, a king (or queen) bed, a couple chairs, tv of course, great wifi, and my favorite: a super comfy chair that reclines just like a La-Z-Boy.
On site laundry with plenty of machines - and it’s available to use 24/7.
Staff has been superb on every visit I’ve made here. Always so friendly and helpful, always just.. nice - and honestly, it makes the entire experience just feel welcoming. One woman in particular has made my day with nothing more than her words of positivity on several occasions. When you meet her, you’ll know what I mean.
Full size refrigerator and a microwave AND a stove top. You’ll be eating just like you do at home and you can cook for anyone that might come and visit.
Friday and Saturday nights are, if you can believe it, quiet. Same goes for every other day of the week as well. No loud music, no groups of ne’er-do-wells hanging about, there’s picnic tables to chill at if you are so inclined (made one good friend that way), and plenty of space to park.
Pet Friendly is always a huge plus and the folks I have seen with larger dogs (as they are allowed!) have a good handle on their pets.
Not very far off the freeway at all so it’s easy to get to where you wanna go and easy to get “home” when your day is complete.
I give it a 4.7 out of 5 because there are a few (only a few!) inconvenient negatives:
$3.80 for a bottle of soda when you’re thirsty as all get out almost seems like a slap in the face.. almost. Chips and candy and snacks are all that same price, too!
Breakfast is less than basic, it’s a first come first serve cabinet that is empty every morning by the time I get there at 6:30am - and sometimes the cabinet isn’t even open that day. BUT the McDonald’s located 0.1 miles away is literally the best one I have ever been to, consistently, so it’s all good.
And lastly, the way the overnight front desk is set up can be, disappointing. 98% of the time it is unmanned and you are to call the phone for assistance. It’s 2026, can y’all put some kind of sensor in the lobby when someone enters so that four of us random guests ain’t waiting 10-15 minutes for the first person to get help and then standing in line even longer?
Overall, this place is phenomenal. I would highly recommend to any and every one looking for something that feels like home when in need of an extended stay.”

“Love this place. This is the 2nd time staying here as both our kids live in Milwaukee, we are from Roscoe, Il. There are lots of food options because it's close to a mall. The free drinks at 5 p.m. and free breakfast are a big plus. They are very attentive to any questions or needs. Will definately stay here again. Oh, by the way, did I mention how reasonable it is with all the amenities!”

“This was my first time staying at this hotel, and overall, I had a nice experience. The hotel itself was nice, and I especially liked the interior and design of the rooms. I also really appreciated the location, as it was close to many stores and restaurants, which made getting around very convenient.
The staff were decent and provided the expected level of service you would typically receive at a hotel. One thing that was disappointing, however, was the confusion surrounding the breakfast. I was initially told that breakfast was included, but when I went to get it, I was charged around $15. I didn’t see any sign indicating that breakfast had an additional cost. The following day, I noticed that a sign had been put up explaining the breakfast pricing. I think it would have been helpful to have the sign displayed consistently so guests know the cost ahead of time rather than finding out when they go to get breakfast.
Other than that, I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel was busy with many guests, and I noticed there was also a special events space where weddings and other events are held, which was a nice feature. Overall, it was a comfortable and well-located hotel, and I would consider staying here again.”
“Stayed at this location for a one night trip with my boyfriend. The room was clean and the bed & pillows were probably the most comfortable we've slept in/on, on any of our recent trips. The bathroom was beautiful and I loved the fact it was a spacious walk-in shower with glass doors. We both would have liked a few more options for breakfast that would have allowed us to take something on the road, as we checked out right around the same time best breakfast started being served.”

“Kristen was absolutely OUTSTANDING. i have never stayed at a hotel with a front desk clerk as helpful and kind as her. She remembered our friend and i and didn’t treat us like we were just another face! the hotel is clean, beds are comfy, and the restaurant is handy! Kristen deserves the world and we would stay here again just to see her ?”

“For the price, the hotel is decent. I do recommend a deep cleaning of the carpet, the pool area needs some ventilation, the breakfast is terrible. No one wants to eat the same thing every morning if you are staying the multiple nights. The staff is nice. The area is so quiet which I love. Just a few things that need to be addressed but I would come back.”
“What an amazing stay!!! Staff were super friendly and helpful. The amenities were above and beyond. Great breakfast, pool ,and fitness center. Couldn’t recommend more!!”
