“On Tuesday 11/25/2025 I went to West town Archery needing a Retention spring to hold down the bolt for my mission crossbow(10 years old). It was not easily found being off such an older model. One of the owners Fred looked up, down, and around all over the store to find one for me but to no avail. I needed it for a hunt the next day, so Fred remembered he had a bow that was out of commission in the back with the same part. He dismantled that bow and put the retention spring on my crossbow and did all the labor free no questions asked! Fred saved the day and my Holiday hunt!! Thank you so much for the excellent customer service going above and beyond!! I will be back with any and all of my Archery needs!!??”

“Bought a opair of Skiing Boots there in early 2025. I already noticed they had an excellent service but eventually they mixed up the size of the Skiing Boots by accident, which I realized just some weeks ago. I asked them politely, if they could do something about it, as I live in Germany and it's not easy for me to go to the store and change them. Without hesitation they told me we could exchange the wrong boot with the correct size. I am astounded by the kind of customer service they provided me with. Mistakes happen, so it's even better to see that in this case, goodwill and respect for the customer were absolutely guaranteed. - I'm definetely coming back during my next stay in Milwaukee!!”
“I called the Brookfield REI Bike Service department and spoke with Remco about the metallic sound I was hearing when I rode my gravel bike. She asked me several questions and we determined that I needed to bring my bike in, which I did. Once at the store, Remco immediately began the process to diagnose the source of the noise. After a few short minutes she determined the source of the noise, a cable. In addition to resolving this problem she informed me that my wheels would need warranty service to meet the manufacturing specifications. My bike was expected to be done within a few days but the service was done in one day!!! I have since ridden my bike and the problem was resolved! Thank you Remco for the great customer service!!!!! “I finally decided to get a new set of clubs and scheduled a club fitting with Mike. He did an awesome job finding a new set for me. We tried a bunch of different options and he was very patient, letting me try a bunch until I felt comfortable and was hitting great with them. He did a great job explaining the differences in the clubs and how they affect my swing/the ball. I walked out with a custom set tailored to my body/swing and I’m feeling much more confident in my game thanks to Mike’s help.”
“Absolutely fantastic store. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The store is clean and well lit, very well organized. Julie, the manager, made a trying experience with a short stocked item into a great experience. My local stores were less than helpful with finding something in the current flyer, but the Brookfield store was amazing to deal with. Kyle finished things just as great as the rest of the experience. I am over an hour away and will gladly make the drive from now on.”
“I learned how to golf fairiy recently and needed a decent set of clubs. I figured second hand would give me better quality at a lower price. Surprisingly, there were quite a few options. I ended up choosing a Cobra set, but the other ones were nice as well. I did not purchase a driver there; I will continue using my current one. I genuinely appreciated the process, particularly with the putter. I tested several putters before deciding which one to purchase. I would highly recommend coming here if you need a starter set or want to upgrade.The staff was extremely helpful and not pushy at all. They wanted to make sure I felt good about my purchase and I did.”
