“On Tuesday, August 4th, 2026 I received a pair of shoes by way of ship to home from my online order that I placed a few days earlier. Upon opening the package and inspecting the shoes, I discovered that the left shoe was the correct size but the right shoe was an incorrect size. I contacted the toll free customer support number, explained the issue at hand, and was afforded the option to use a return label to ship the shoes back or to go to my local retail store location to do an exchange. I was willing to go to my local store, ended the call, and headed over to the store. Upon my arrival, I entered the store and was immediately greeted and assisted by the store manager named Kyle. I found the store to be inviting, due to the cleanliness and organized manner of the displays and product lines offered for sale. After explaining the situation surrounding my online shoe order, he corrected the problem without hesitation. Even though I was not able to exchange the shoes for the exact style, I found a comparable style that was actually a step up. Kyle not only honored the great deal that I received from my online order, but extended me a greater discount. Kyle and his team of associates represent what excellent customer service looks like. “This is one mall that lost a couple of anchor stores, which is very disappointing. Sears and Boston Store are gone. I've been going to this mall since I was a kid. I've seen stores come and go, but it still stayed in business. With the two anchor stores leaving it's a challenge, but I believe it will still stay in business. The holidays really make this mall more popular. The decorations are beautiful and festive. Not much crime or loitering. Security has a handle hear. It does need some more restaurants inside the mall. They've built a beautiful Marcus theater on the outside of the mall and there are plenty of restaurants outside too. I've noticed they've been putting more restaurants in the mall, hopefully more stores will be attracted to the influx of more people.”

Last month, Foot Locker Inc. reopened its flagship store at 112 W 34th St. in New York City, as part of new retail plans. The store introduced "Home Court," a basketball-focused shopping area created with Nike and Jordan Brand. The updated store offers a basketball-themed shopping experience. It combines customer service with the newest products for use on and off the court from several brands.
