“I had my daughters 2008 Honda Civic towed in. Adam (one of the owners) was there with me an out of town conerned father who didn’t want his daughter being taken advantage of by a mechanic. Adam was there with me most polite and thorough voice of automotove knowledge. He broke down the diagnosis and price of the job. He steered me away from parts not needed. In this day and age it’s really comforting to finally find a automotive shop with integrity, trustworthy and honest. You have gained a customer for life. Thank you for the positive experience. Our salesman, Dylan, was on top, on point and very knowledgeable as well as cooperative with us. Such as timely manner, communication, and comprehensive - asset skills in assistance, support, and environmental friendly atmosphere in the shop. Dylan was able to transfer the title, show us a rundown of our car, etc. and keeping everything else maintained in regards to our vehicle being reserved! The one drawback has to do with the town of Freistadt itself. It's a lovely intersection with a hardware store, church and its campus, a grade school, and some nearby nature areas. Except for the hardware store, the only other establishment open to the public is a local bar that opens at 11:30. If you drop off a car early at Freistadt Auto or if there is a scheduling delay and you don't have a ride back home, it's very awkward to be walking along the street just the other side of an active grammar school, waiting for 11:30 as locals are hyper-sensitive, and rightly so, especially with strangers. Everyone seems to know everyone and are very suspicious of others. Definitely small-town feeling. Plan ahead to have a ride home as waiting in the waiting room is not too realistic for more than say an hour. One of the employees gave me a ride home during my first visit. Plan accordingly.”

I believe I worked with the owner and his son. Both were friendly, honest, and ensured I left satisfied. ( they double checked all fluid levels, replaced the worn wiper, installed the license plate, etc...)

“Biggest surprise to find Dennis and Car Maid since moving to Cedarburg. Another repair shop referred me to Car Maid when I had a rusted/broken exhaust pipe next to the converter. At first, I was downcast when owner Dennis said he was booked up for 3 weeks. However, if I showed up early the next day, he might be able to fix it depending on the condition of the pipe. Bottom line: Dennis fixed it in 40 mts for $120. I am now a loyal customer.”

“Had a great experience with my emission testing! All employees were friendly and personable. They were efficient and answered all additional questions I had. It was quick to get my car registered immediately following the emission testing. They were considerate enough to put my car under the covered gas pumps after the testing due to it raining versus in the other parking area. It was a really kind gesture when walking out with my 4-year-old. Will continue to go there for emission testing.”

They kept me informed about the work they were doing, and let me know as soon as my truck was ready. Here I am, 2 years later, I thought I was having issues with my transmission again. We set an appointment, they looked at, and gave me a good lead on what the issue might be, after it turned out to not be the transmission.”
