My dad recently passed away and places keep taking money out of his accounts even though ive sent the death certificate so I called Sara and she made it so that cant happen again. If you've even had a parent pass you understand how hard it is and anything anyone can do to help is more then appreciated. There are more circumstances that Sara and State Bank have helped with concerning my dad and myself but for his privacy I will not go into but I couldn't be more thankful for a person and Bank then I am. “I’ve consistently had positive experiences at this GECU location. The staff is friendly, professional, and always willing to help when questions come up. The branch is well run, and the business hours make it easy to stop in without feeling rushed.
I also appreciate how respectful and welcoming the team has been during visits with service dogs. As someone who works with dogs being trained for service-level public behavior, it’s encouraging to see a business that understands the role of properly trained working animals while still maintaining a professional environment for everyone.

“I can not speak highly enough about banking with UWCU. I had three institutions prior to moving all of my banking needs to UWCU in the last five years. Their banking app is superior in all ways to the banks I have previously banked with. After one home refinance and three car vehicle loans I can honestly say their lending team has been incredibly easy to work with each time. They are professional, quick with responses, worked effectively as a team…even in the absence of one another. I’ve compared their interest rates each time and have all four times meet or beat the best rate from my other institutions. When refinancing my home in 2024 my local title company asked who I used as it was the lowest rate they had seen at that time. Because of my experience I’ve had three friends and my parents transfer their business to them and have they have all been equally as satisfied. Hands down best Credit Union I’ve been with in 30 years of banking.”

“I have been banking with Park Bank since 2020. Their team has always been extremely friendly and helpful. I have a business and a personal checking account through them and just this morning I received a call about a charge. Emily, the Park Bank employee, said that she saw this charge come through on my business account but thought maybe I had intended to have it go through my personal account. She was right! I can't imagine a big bank looking out for my interests like that. That's just one example, I have dozens, of how they go above and beyond to make sure my interests are looked out for. “Not sure why but I always feel unsafe attempting to pull into the drive thru. It works, but somehow I wish it was just a little bit easier to navigate to the ATM, I'd feel more secure crossing traffic, making the turn and steering to the ATM without having to consider possibly being hit by another car or without possibly steering into something that I don't want to hit. It's a bit too tight.”
“We always go thru Amy for loans. When we first got our car, we didn't know much about how the loan worked. She's very knowledgeable, listens well, she makes sure to cover every single thing we need to know about buying a car and she works as fast as she can to get paperwork done as smoothly as possible. We live in Onalaska where there is an office here too but we don't mind the extra drive to the south side because she does an amazing job. Her and Hansen are great at the La Crosse location so I highly recommend them if you're on the market for an auto loan.”
