The owner/ manager and employee turned to each other and started to chat. No worries. We browsed the store and I needed a quite replacement item and I found it. My daughter picked up a couple of items.

“Burnie's, both locations are just great, always full of treasures and surprises. When my son who is now 11, was 2, all he wanted in the world was a piece of amber with a bug in it. Eventually, off to Burnie's we went. He subsequently lost the item in a tragic, "I hide it from my friends in a trash can so nobody would take it" incident. Years later, on another magical Burnie's expedition, we mentioned the funny story, and Ben said he had an idea of how to fix the situation. There are very few places that can fix the injuries of childhood. Well played Burnie's, well played. Always a pleasure to visit your treasures.”

“I looked all around Madison for somewhere that could make custom jewelry from old jewelry. My mom gave me some old silver and gold that belonged to my grandma who I never met. I also had bought a cross pendant from Ukraine that was said to have been made in the 1100’s AD (no way to verify but it looks awesome). I brought these things in to Earth Elements to see if he could make a new cross based off the design of the old one using my grandmothers jewelry. We discussed specifics (like having the raised parts in gold and the base part in sterling silver) About three weeks later, it was done! I could not be happier. Thank you!”

“I had never been to any sort of Pawn store due to me being from a small town in the middle of nowhere.
