The store has a great layout making it easy to locate the items you are looking for. I enjoy looking at their dog treat options. They carry a good variety of high quality brands. They also have fun cat toys up by the check out. This time I grabbed a bouncy ball with a few feathers attached. The staff member checking me out said cats enjoy playing with this toy on the stairs and that's exactly what my cats did. It's their new favorite toy. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They greeted my dog with a treat when we walked in. I always enjoy a good pet store, especially MadCat.

The facility is exceptional—truly a blessing. I was able to bathe Maxwell with ease, thanks to the variety of shampoos and conditioners available. The towels for drying were heated, adding an extra touch of comfort. The provided combs and grooming supplies made the task effortless, and the final fur spray left him smelling delightful.

Ppl suggested we bring her to daycare once a week. We tried out DHU and they really met her where she was at when she arrived. She was so scared the first day and barely left her crate. Now months later, it is INCREDIBLE how much she's grown. The DHU employees are so kind and worked so hard to help her come out of her shell. She now runs to the door once she knows we are going there!!! She plays all day and we feel so confident she is safe and loved while there. Wish I could give more stars. 4105 Hillcrest Dr, MadisonWe recently had to make the heartbreaking decision to help our sweet boy Louie cross the rainbow bridge, and Dr. Carrie Donahue from Full Circle In-Home Pet Euthanasia was truly a gift during such a painful time.
She came to our home and was so sweet, soft-spoken, and incredibly gentle with Louie. The love, respect, and compassion she showed him — and us — made the entire process as peaceful as it could possibly be. It was clear she genuinely cares about the pets and families she serves.
Dr. Carrie also has an amazing setup and incredible support system in place even after that day. She sent a thoughtful “how to handle grief” email filled with helpful resources — book recommendations for both children and adults, audio options, support groups, and even one-on-one support from her colleague who is certified in pet loss grief support, euthanasia, and pet hospice.
Her services are truly the whole package, from beginning to end. We are so grateful for her compassion, her kindness, and the dignity she gave Louie in his final moments. I can’t recommend Dr. Carrie Donahue and Full Circle highly enough.

I feel they are mindful about the expense to owners, always giving options and never recommending unnecessary care or testing. Compared to other vets in the area, the cost for their services is reasonable and prescription food, etc is equal to or less than any place one found online.
We're so fortunate to have Sandhill caring for us and our pets!

The attendants have standards so at first Duke was put on probation until his behavior improved, which it did as he became familiar with what he now considers “his club!”. Simply put, Duke loves being there. Duke comes home contentedly exhausted. It’s like the dog park x10. He’s actually fallen asleep sitting up!
The more Duke goes there, the more he loves it. Pulls me hard to get in. At the end of the day wants to stay. He told me it’s his doggy heaven.

It's really that quiet during drop-off! It took a whiile to get used to... Having dogs for over 30 years, and attending classes/daycare in the area, I have to say DDD is the best!! Both Pepper and I have learned so much. Samantha is awesome and readily available to assist with problem solving. She has worked with us to create an individualized plan for a positive outcome - whether its trimming nails or Monday Manners. Of course you need to do your homework and be consistent with your pup. S and her staff really do treat your pup like family! DDD - you're the best!??

3032 Progress Rd, MadisonOur dog Chevy, graduated recently from training at Madison, WI Sit Means Sit location! He had two one on one sessions with Josh and one with Brenna. My husband and I really liked the approach to training where they train the dog and the owners. Josh and Brenna were knowledgeable, respectful, kind, and willing to answer our millions of questions! We found the training to be very beneficial. Our dog Chevy was reactive to just about everything, but especially on walks and when people came into our home. Since training (and our continued follow through with coached strategies), we have noticed great changes in Chevy. More consistency with his “place” command really reinforced at this training has been helpful in allowing us to welcome people into our home with Chevy feeling confident in that situation. We have been able to walk on the same side of the sidewalk as both people and dogs with his good response to the learned heel response with attention on us. We are so thankful for the changes we have seen in our dog, Chevy since completing the training.
We were initially nervous about the e collar, but our minds were quickly eased by the knowledgeable trainers and after seeing first hand that the collar was a positive reinforcer only. Chevy likes putting the collar on! He responds well and quickly to it. It’s been a game changer.
We would recommend Madison sit means sit to dog owners looking for dog training in the area! As with all dog training it is not a “fix it” / “fix everything” solution, follow through and continuing to work on what you learned is key.

We chose Angela and her team based on the amazing reviews here and we’re so so happy that we did!! I have done pet sitting on the side as well as worked for a pet sitting company before and it’s a hard decision figuring out who to trust to leave your fur baby with when you’re gone but I can tell you, Green Dog LLC is who you want!! All 8 instructors we've had over 4 different classes are amazing. The enrichment activities, treats, and puppy art projects are definitely worth it! I love the enthusiasm the staff brings to everything they do, especially fundraisers and community events. I'll be sad when Theo graduates, but I'm so glad he'll move on to the Dog Den!

Ella (the adoption coordinator) was so helpful and kind and patient through the entire process. We had so many questions and she was so knowledgeable. A week into being home, one kitten came down with an illness and when I called MCP they not only got her in immediately to be checked out, but sent us home with medications and H, the medical professionals, was available via text to update us and answer questions. This is not an average place, they go above and beyond and truly care for the animals and we could not be more thankful to have found them and our sweet babies! Adopt here!

2301 Sheridan Dr, MadisonWow! How much this space has developed. There is a large yard for all dogs and a side space for older dogs. How adorable. There is parking now with plenty of space. The is a small beach for our fur babes to take a swim. Our Kleiu who is still very much a pup needs socializing. This space is great for that. Old dogs and young alike, this free space is wonderful.

Underdog Pet Rescue of Wisconsin
231 S Fair Oaks Ave, MadisonWe adopted two beautiful, adorable kittens named Oliver and June from here. The adoption process went very fast and smoothly. Their foster mom, Bridget, was very sweet and receptive to answering any questions we had; we could really see that these two kittens were well cared for by both Bridget and the organization. Highly recommend.

Shelter From the Storm Animal
1602 Blossom Ln, MadisonWe have been working with Shelter From The Storm since 2011. We have adopted dogs as well as fostered and assisted in placing a lot of dogs into amazing homes! We have also been helping with transfer of animals from other shelters into Shelter From The Storm to find Fosters and place for adoptions. The staff at the shelter are amazing. They are very caring with the animals and have done an extremely amazing job finding animals in need a loving home!

Dane County Humane Society
5132 Voges Rd, MadisonWonderful experience with Dane County Humane Society. We adopted this beautiful cat from them and they have been incredible every step of the way from the front desk to the woman who introduced us to some of the cats. Highly recommend.
