About Avis Car Rental
Avis Car Rental operates one of the world's best-known car rental brands and is recognized for customer loyalty. The service at the airport is often great, with an easy check-in process that is quick and simple. Customers report the car was clean with no complaints, and it was easy to get the car and return it to the airport area. Some staff members are described as awesome, fantastic, warm, welcoming, friendly, helpful, and cheerful, going above and beyond with exceptional service and kindness. It is considered the best car rental at the airport hands down, able to provide a car quickly and for less money than other companies. However, experiences can vary. Customer service on the phone can be poor, and the AI was impossible to deal with. One customer reported being stranded in the desert for over an hour with no help after receiving a vehicle with a tire that did not hold proper pressure and wipers with no rubber, which was unsafe. This has led to some uncertainty about using Avis again.
