“I love Trader Joe’s ! This location is often pretty busy and it’s a rather small location but they usually are very good about having a full stock of items and I usually do not have trouble finding anything. One word of caution, the underground parking garage is very very tight and small. Be extremely careful entering and exciting.”

“Ken's is a lovely local butcher shop. I have tried their stuffed pork chops, meatballs, deli sandwiches, and egg salad. Since McFarland doesn't have a butcher shop anymore it's nice to have Ken's close by.”

“This is a good all around hole in the wall eats. Even as a vegetarian you can find a bite here, just remember that traditional re-fried beans are made with lard, so get black or pinto beans if its an option.Usually grab the family a pile of pastor tacos with cilantro and onion, can't go wrong getting them that. It isn't our favorite pastor recipe in town, but what it lacks, the amazing three different salsa's make up for that come with the food.”

“Fantastic Mexican supermarket off of Park St. Very friendly staff and a ton of great food options.They also have a small restaurant in the back making authentic Mexican food. I ordered the birria tacos and they were AMAZING. I will certainly be going back for more.After we ordered our food, we also went to the supermarket side and bought chips and we were able to bring them to our table an enjoy with the restaurant's salsa. Be prepared, it is legitimate salsa, so it has a nice, good spice to it!The store also seems to have a great meat counter and delicious looking produce.Gracias!”

“Freshly-made good-tasting breed every Wednesday. Frozen vegetables are very good. A little smelly in the back (fishy) due to their large stocks. Perfect place for Asian, Middle Eastern, and/or Mediterranean foods. Some nice people there.”

Very relaxed grocery store. Restaurants and a cooking class upstairs! The islands and greenery were soothing. I was assisted by very warm energy when i was unfamiliar with a process at self checkout. Hadn't eaten since early morning and was ready to scarff big time. The staff at the asian counter was very cold to me though- rolled his eyes and everything, acted like he didn't hear or see me even though we made eye contact as i approached. i hurriedly ordered- it was both of our displeasure at that time. food is ok. maybe it would have tasted better if he hadn't been so customer adept with the one before.
I will return- just stay away from that counter......”

“I recommended has the cheapest gas station in the west. Some people may feel different but it’s also really convenient. There’s a grocery store next to the gas station. That’s just convenient honestly. And it’s a pretty safe area.”
“Nice family run place. Cool Hmong Legacy handicraft items. We went for the boba and picked up a few grocery items. Some dessert drinks were pretty nice but the actual "boba" was pretty plain. We prefer soft and tasty like honey boba, but that's not what they carry there.”

“This was an Asian market that was very close to my brothers house. We had planned to make Korean army stew and this market had all the fresh vegetables and ingredients needed to make the meal. There is nothing really negative I can say about this place other than the fact that it is on the smaller side.”
“Excellent place to buy your stuff if you're Latino, since it is a Latino store. I even got some stuff from my country and I would love to see more so i can eat more of my country's sweets and snacks! Service was great and i went in and out really fast! Bought some Pirulin and Samba, can def recommend it. And they have my fave meat! The smoked pork cutlet! I can't wait to go there again soon.”

“I rolled up at 01:30 for a 04:00 appointment. Security guard shack told me, in a most unfriendly way, put your phone number on top of your bills. I did, and handed them over. He said, “Appointment time?” I told him 04:00. He told me where to go park. Blind side backing only. So, SWIFT, Prime and the like, you’ve been warned. I know I’ll be here for a while. So, after I parked, I settled in for a few hours nap. WRONG. Just as I close my eyes, the phone rings. Door 63. ? It’s not even 02:00!?!? At 03:40 I was outbound. As the lumpers go, I was astounded that they already knew how much the fee/extortion amount would be, as I received a text as I was backing in demanding $200.00! I thought, that was interesting. Usually, the lumpers beat the hell out of the truck before they stick it to you. These guys don’t wait for that sort of nonsense. They get right to it before they begin. I guess they have ESP or second sight. Who knows?”

“I called the store at 7:00 a.m. today and was told they had the specialty bakery item I was looking for. I just picked it up and the customer service was fantastic and the bakery item looks very fresh. The front end personnel were very friendly and looked like they take pride in their work and like their job. That is hard to find nowadays.”
