2450 S Bay Shore Dr, Sister BayLots of delicious things on tap. 10 out of 10. There's plenty of outdoor seating. This is a great spot for a group. They had snack items but if you want a meal you have to go somewhere else. This will now be a regular stop for me when I'm in the area.

The dishes they prepared for our menu were creative and delicious! On the day of, staff were super professional, polite with our guests, the food was warm, despite being prepared offsite, and our guests kept saying how much they loved the food! We would highly recommend Thyme for catering anywhere in Door County in the future!

Wild Tomato Wood-Fired Pizza & Grille Sister Bay
10677 N Bay Shore Dr, Sister BayMy husband and I enjoyed our pizza at Wild Tomato in Fish Creek so much we decided to try the Wild Tomato restaurant on Sister Bay's lakefront. The atmosphere is quite different from that in Fish Creek: this restaurant has 10-12 uncrowded tables inside with a few more on the terrace in back. And flies, there were flies here also, just like at Fish Creek. The first thing we noticed was the very loud music, a mix of contemporary country and hits from the 1980s, very much too loud for the few people in the room. The floor and tables are pale wood. The walls are a mix of corrugated tin and more pale wood with large windows. Dark beams that looked painted gray support the roof, and tube light bulbs with red electrical wires snake along them. There are two wood-fired ovens here. One young man was serving the entire dining area which only had two other couples in it, and it took him more than ten minutes to come for our order after presenting us with menus. We chose the Mediterranean Pizza for two, comprised of red onions, artichokes, yellow bell peppers, with mozzarella and shaved parmesan on a bed of pesto. My husband ordered Kona beer, and I Sangiovese wine. It was then a group of six people came in and sat at a table near ours. They started conversations in normal tones, but their decibel level grew until they were yelling. Together with the loud music, the combination of noise was thoroughly uncomfortable. Our pizza arrived during the cacophony. I could hardly hear the server ask if we wanted more shaved parmesan. The food was good, the crust an excellent balance of toasted crunch and tender inside. We enjoyed it as much as we could, requested a box for the leftovers, and paid. Sister Bay is too much of a conglomerate of tourist shops for my preference, and after all the noise of canned music and loud diners, I'd rather return to the Wild Tomato at Fish Creek.

We will be back. \nYou order your food at the bar and a server brings to your table. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Everything is clean and inviting. \nI had the hippie bowl with grilled chicken. The chicken was tender and tasty. The bowl ingredients were fresh, deliciously seasoned and nicely presented. You will not be disappointed.
