Lakeland Veterinary Care
2125 McComb Rd STE 106, StoughtonMy only experience with this vet this far has been during this pandemic. I have never before had to trust a vet to take my animal for care out of my sight without knowing them first, so you can imagine I was nervous. I still haven't met Dr. Osgood, but I wouldn't want anyone else caring for my cat.
They have been so professional and kind, diligent in their work, and honest. I brought in the cat I had just adopted for her nasty, dirty ears, and they told me from the beginning they hadn't seen much like this before, in such a young cat especially, and worked very hard to find the right medication for her. It's been a long, expensive process but they've been very open about what my options were and what each would cost from the very beginning.
I have complete confidence in the entire team here. They truly are wonderful.

Pet-Friendly Restaurants

Viking Brew Pub
211 E Main St, StoughtonMy husband and I stop here every year on the way home from our annual ski trip, and IT IS FANTASTIC! The staff is so friendly (Todd at the bar is amazing), the beer is unique and delicious, and the food is incredible. We’ve had everything from their amazing soups to the wings to the tater kegs to their incredible meatballs, and nothing disappoints. This place is definitely worth a stop, and it will be one that you revisit again and again. Wonderful food and wonderful people!

Springers
3097 Sunnyside St, StoughtonWe went here Friday night because the place we usually go was packed. What a great experience! The food was superb the potato salad and the salad bar was out of this world! The drinks were absolutely delicious. Everything was just excellent. The only negative it was dark and I couldn’t see the lake, completely our fault! I can’t wait to go again.

Heartland Farm Sanctuary
424 US-51, StoughtonThis place gives me hope. Every animal was so well cared for and you really did feel their souls when you walked around. The turkey walking up to my mother in law, the donkey standing in a corner to be closer to their sheep friend, Esther the goat following tourists around, creampuff coming outside to supervise the tour, the giaaant cow who had recently lost her brother, the goat ramming his food dish to get our attention and affection.. Thank you for letting me get a glimpse into their lives. I have been wanting to visit for a long time and used my ten year vegan anniversary as a reason to finally go. Carol was unbelievably friendly and helpful. We didn’t know if my father in law would come because of his mobility issues, and she took care of getting him a ticket and making sure we didn’t leave him behind even though he was slower than the rest of the pack. I also had to switch our tour and they were so accommodating via email too.Thank you all for giving me hope and for loving these animals ? May they all get to experience healthy and happy lives at the sanctuary for a long time to come!
