“Hands down one of best businesses I have worked with. Double D installed a hitch on my car this spring. They are not a little suburban put a hitch on your EV kinda place - I liked what the web reviews said about them and I was NOT disappointed. The hitch is super solid and and looks great on my Ioniq 5 EV. Drove 1000 miles with a hitch rack solid as a rock.
Here’s where they earn 10 stars though: a small cosmetic cut, in low bumper fascia near the hitch, was pointed out by them after the installation and they said without asking that they would fix it. They ordered the replacement part, painted it to match my car and installed it and it looks awesome/like new. They kept in great touch with me over the course of this and never left me hanging. While I could’ve been upset about the initial minor cosmetic damage to the plastic on the low bumper of the car, my experience was instead a business of integrity who followed through on their word and made everything right. You just can’t seem to buy that anymore. Cheers to Double D.”

“Great service! I was very grateful for how well everything went with Disch. I slid on ice off the road and into snow, so naturally, I needed someone to come tow me out.

Every other towing service I reached out to had hours of wait time. After being on hold with Finish Line for 45 minutes and never hearing an actual person once, and never even being able to reach Trollway at all, Disch picked up after one ring and got to my car within the next 30 minutes. The process was no hassle at all, and despite the fact that even my battery had died, we were done and I was back on the road very quickly.

My only slight issue whatsoever is that the price seemed slightly steeper than some of the alternatives. Considering I was a ways out of town and they arrived quickly unlike any of those alternatives, I cant really complain about that either though.

“My 2001 BMW 330ci has 220,000 miles and is still going strong, but finding a qualified mechanic who I trust has always been a challenge. I was referred to Pat Slattery by a friend. Pat invited me to his shop so he could look at my car and the long list of things that needed fixing. We set up a time and he put it up on the lift to look at the suspension, then the rest of the car to see the issues. Other shops told me they could not or would not do the repairs. I left my car there and told him there was no hurry. He told me what specific parts he needed to do the work and that I had to get the parts which I was happy to do. Other shops quoted me prices for the repairs, but told me I had to purchase the parts from them which always costs more. I got good parts and had them delivered to Pat. Rock Auto sent the wrong part, a brake caliper shield, but Pat found a pair on e-bay and installed the one needed. He put new shocks in back, struts and strut mounts in front, changed my oil, got my heater working and diagnosed the check engine light that has been mostly on for sixteen years. My BMW rides like a new car. Pat also replaced a window opener motor. I was there when he did the job. Took him three hours which included two trips to the hardware store. Was a pricey repair, but it was the competitive with estimates I researched online. Last week my 82 year old mother told me how nice it rode. After two months, all of Pat's repairs have held up and his price was fair considering all the hours he put into the work. If Pat tells you he can fix your car, he will get the job done right.”
