901 Kimball Ln #1500, VeronaWe have been taking our dog Prescott to True Vet for the last 6 years since he was a puppy! I should really put a review in every time I go. Today was one of the biggest snowstorms so far this year, and they were able to squeeze us in for a quick visit to treat our dog’s ear infection. The team at True Vet are good listeners, they have patience, and they really take the time to educate. I have nothing but good things to say. We live close by and our dog always pulls to go there and have a visit! Dr. Sarah is seriously amazing, we have had the most experience with her, and are happy whenever she gets to work with us. You guys rock!!

I was very concerned about her interaction with the staff, as she can be very anxious and avoidant. All of the staff was so calm and patient. They performed the exam on the floor in a dimmed space under a bench so my cat would be more comfortable! They answered all of my questions and gave options for solutions. I honestly almost cried - as I thought a vet visit might never be a possibility for this cat. Excellent experience.

TailWaggers Doggy Daycare
1060 American Way, VeronaWe have been taking our chihuahua mix to Tailwaggers for boarding when we have to travel without him for two years, and the staff always greets him by name when we drop him off. The daily price for boarding ($50 ish) includes a full day of daycare ($30 ish value), which is so much more reasonable than anywhere else I’ve looked at. During daycare time, the dogs are split into a small dog area and a big dog area. We love visiting the website to watch the small dog area webcam to see what our dog is up to. He loves people and can often be found on the lap of the staff supervising playtime.
When we drop him off, we often schedule for them to trim his nails or do a full bath shortly before we’re scheduled to pick him up. This saves us from a separate trip to the groomer’s and is very convenient and reasonably priced. On occasions when we’ve needed to pick up early or add on an extra day due to changing travel plans, Tailwaggers has always been accommodating.
It would be nice if they could upgrade the quality of their webcams and if their online booking system for boarding & daycare could support adding on grooming services, but I still give Tailwaggers Verona 5 stars.

Lake Louie Brewing and Wisconsin Brewing Company
1079 American Way, VeronaMy partner and I have been to Wisconsin Brewing Company a few times now, and it's become one of our favorite low-key weekend stops. It's the perfect place to spend a relaxed afternoon -- good beer, friendly staff, and a laid-back vibe that's never too crowded. The space itself is great -- high ceilings, big windows that let in tons of natural light, and a nice open layout. The outdoor patio overlooking the pond is especially beautiful when the weather's nice. It's also dog-friendly, which we love! Our pup is always happy to come along, and we even picked up one of their dog toys from the merch area -- easily her new favorite. They've got some fun merch for humans too. The beer selection is solid, with something for everyone. We've really enjoyed the Lil Louie Lager and Badger Club Amber, and they always have a few rotating taps that keep things interesting. The staff has been consistently friendly and welcoming every time we've visited. If there's one area for improvement, it's the atmosphere. The space itself is awesome, but it sometimes feels like it's missing a little energy I'd love to see more events, live music, or themed nights to bring the place to life. It has so much potential to be a real community hub. Overall, Wisconsin Brewing Company is absolutely worth checking out great beer, great staff, and a beautiful, dog-friendly spot to unwind. With just a little more happening in the space, it could easily be a five-star destination.

The Bogey Factory
503 W Verona Ave Suite 400, VeronaWow! Wow! Wow! The Bogey Factory has a trifecta ... great customer service, delicious food and fantastic atmoshere. We rented out the venue this last weekend to host a surprise b-day party. Everyone had so much fun it was a huge success. In addition to the golf simulator's the outdoor patio is inviting and relaxing. We will be back over and over again.
