βWe had USAA insurance until October 1. Weβve had American family in the past. USAA was good, but was getting very expensive, and American family always seemed like they wanted to short us.
I shopped around quite a bit looking for both HOME and auto insurance with about four or five different companies. C4 seem to offer the best answer answers to my questions and the best options. Itβs not the least expensive insurance, but what matters is how they respond when you have a claim. If you pay a low premium and then you find out that you have to fight to have them cover you, itβs not worth it! Service matters to me. Hopefully I found that with C4 Insurance and I am now with the Erie Insurance company, which has excellent ratings for handling claims. I should save $2000+ this year!β
βWas a pleasure to change from American Family to State Farm. Saved us $ on our homeowners, car insurance. Should have done it years ago. Thank You State Farm and Jim Miller DeForestβ

βInsurance can be complicated. It is great to talk to a real person that can explain options. I was ready to leave AllState because I couldn't get answers through the corporate website or calling the corporate 800 number. Finding a local agent that took the time to explain options and details, as well as ways to save on my insurance, saved me from having to change insurance companies.β
βI appreciate that if our agent isnβt available, someone else is able to speak with us on behalf of our policy. βWe just transferred our insurance to Rural Mutual, after 50 years with another company. We were told by our agent that we would need to pay a $65 annual member fee. When we went online to pay for this fee it showed payment amount due as $70. We called Customer Service and were told that the member fee was $65 but they also add a $5.00 donation on the amount that is due. We were told we could edit this amount to $65, which we did. We feel that this is deceptive. If the company is looking at donations beyond the member fee it should be noted as such on the online payment site. This is definitely a red flag for us. We never had this kind of deception with State Farm. I would ask that Rural Mutual be more honest and upfront on the added $5.00 donation fee on their online payment site, and list it as such.β
βMy bank Randolph Brooks credit union recommended me a life insurance policy with this company. It was so easy to do online. Iβm super excited and I feel so much betterβ
