“I helped build this store in my early 20s I’m now 30. And to stop by when I’m out this way and see how well it’s doing and how CLEAN it is! My God! Jeremy is absolutely outstanding. I’ve worked at Lorna road(helped build that one and worked there a long time), I’ve worked at Helena, and I’ve worked at valleydale. This store is amazing. The young ladies at self checkout today around 3PM were amazing and attentive. If you ever shop at Lorna road or any neighborhood Walmart really in the area, you’ll see a difference. Great job Jeremy!”
“I've been shopping here since 2016. Always fantastic sales and great customer service. One time I was treated bad, I reported her because she was doing nothing ...standing, looking, giving dirty looks and never asking if I needed help. It shocked me because that's never happened....not in that store. Hopefully I will never have that happen again. (Best store in Bham.)”

“From the time I walked into this Super Target store, Desiree, a cashier exemplified EXCELLENT customer service to me. (At 1pm on Sunday, 4 or 5 cashiers had 0 customers.) Seeing I needed help, Desiree directed me to the juicers, looked for the Breville, took it off the shelf. She was very patient with me. As a senior citizen needing directions often when in a megastore, I am so grateful to DESIREE for giving me the royal treatment at HOOVER TARGET, on GROVE BLVD.”

The store is always neat and clean, with the usual random restocking boxes located neatly out of the aisles for shopping convenience. In my experience, I am almost always greeted when I walk in the front door. Check out is always very friendly and professional. Definitely my favorite Target store in the Birmingham area.”

“Great place for bargain shopping. The place was clean and well organized. I must admit that I haven't been to a Burlington in years but needed to pick up a coin purse and wanted to get in and out. on the coin purse. That gave me enough time to browse around for a few minutes at the housewares. Things were sensibly priced and conveniently located. I would go back.”

Amanda, went above and beyond to help me return and item and buy my other ones. She gave me kindness in a moment that was more difficult than I can explain. She was truly fantastic!”

“Normal Ross dress for less. This one is usually pretty clean and orderly.The trash out front has been there so long it smells. That may be the fault of the colonial promenade. I have seen the same in front of Books a Million.”

“Well stocked, usually easy to find a sales associate to ask questions, sometimes a greeter or someone saying have a nice day with a smile, which is nice. Often met very nice cashiers. Kind of a local store kind of a community. :) Chicken I bought was fine, Walmart brand. Recycling of metal cans and plastic cans!!
Good place for inexpensive, eggs and brand-name items. Personally, I never buy produce at Walmart, it’s not fresh. The parking lot could be a little bit cleaner - there’s trash, but you see that at every Walmart.”
“After I broke my foot and ankle, I was unable to navigate the store, even with the cart. I order my groceries on line now and my husband picks them up. I've been very impressed with the service. My nervousness over someone else picking out my produce was unwarranted as they've done a very nice job. I've been able to include all store items which has been great too. They give you ample opportunity to substitute items - or not - that are out of stock. One item I wanted that was out of stock was shipped to me at no additional charge. I make my menu and stick to what I need. Less impulse buying. We've had no issues with picking up or missed items. While I miss counting my personal shopping steps in my fitbit, I am not sure I'll ever go back in person!”

I am so very grateful to Laura in the Walmart Supercenter Bakery in Pelham!! I was having a really hard time making decisions about how to decorate a bridal shower cake for my daughter in love to-be’s special day. She patiently waited for me to make some color choices and listened attentively to my requests. In the end, I decided to leave the creativity to her.
I was so happy with how Laura decorated the cake…she incorporated all my requests into her own design and made a very beautiful and elegant design. My daughter in love to-be absolutely loved the cake, as did everyone else at the shower. I have never received more compliments on a cake, and I have ordered countless cakes from several different bakeries. This time, I ordered a white cake with strawberry filling and buttercream icing. Not only was it perfectly decorated, it was absolutely scrumptious. I have previously ordered cakes from Edgar’s, Publix, and Walmart. Walmart’s cakes are just as delicious as the more expensive cakes, and they are much more affordable. The Pelham Walmart Supercenter has an exceptional staff and department manager, Linda. Winnie and Donnelle are also very knowledgeable, kind, and always friendly and willing to help me. I absolutely LOVE this bakery staff and highly recommend them for any occasion for which you need a custom cake or cookie cake. If Walmart offered a gluten-free option, I would be in Heaven because I would never have to use another bakery. (Gluten allergies are the worst!! I miss cake!!)”

“This place is good BUT it's so cold. It hurts to the bone, it shouldn't be freezing. I don't know how the employees work here. Even in the freezing cold winter days they had the air on. I wish they would fix it for not only the customers but the employees as well. It should not be refrigerator temperatures all year round”
