“This place is fantastic! There was a guy named Justin and a lady named Sharoll who took time out of their day to help us find pants, shirt, and a belt! They were incredibly kind and sweet about everything 10/10 we would come back again!”
“The best store for shopping and spending a few hours in to try on all the beautiful dresses, shirts, bras, lingerie. The staff are just the greatest! I was able to get great prices and if they didn’t have it in stock on the clearance rack they checked the online store and shipped it me for free . I was in the store on vacation with my husband doing a work/ training conference . I felt like I was so welcomed and appreciated. I left to go eat lunch and came back for few more hours to make sure to try on everything that I saw . I left my American Express credit card on the counter by mistake . This store associate tried to contact me and stored it locked up until I got back there . I can say enough positive things about my shopping experience. It’s so hard to find nice shirts when you are larger on the top than the bottom. I have and will continue to recommend them to all my friends, co workers, church members. Thank you for caring for me like family .”
“Hot Topic was an awesome experience for my daughter. She was literally like a kid in a candy store—super excited about everything in the store. We definitely had to rein her in on the purchases because she wanted it all! Great selection and a fun atmosphere if your kids are into anime, music, or pop culture.”
“I recently stopped by Kohl’s in Hoover to return some Amazon items and spent a little time walking through the store afterward. The store was clean, well-organized, and stocked with a great selection of merchandise.
What surprised me most was how few people were shopping. For such a large store, it felt unusually quiet, and it made me wonder how brick-and-mortar retailers are competing in today’s environment. The merchandise was nice, but some of the pricing seemed a bit higher than I expected.
That said, the store was pleasant to shop in, easy to navigate, and the return process was quick and hassle-free. Overall, a good experience and a solid place to shop, especially if you’re already stopping in for an Amazon return.

“I've been shopping here since 2016. Always fantastic sales and great customer service. One time I was treated bad, I reported her because she was doing nothing ...standing, looking, giving dirty looks and never asking if I needed help. It shocked me because that's never happened....not in that store. Hopefully I will never have that happen again. (Best store in Bham.)”
“Haley is honestly one of the best people you could hope to have helping you at Old Navy. From the moment you walk in, she brings such a positive, welcoming energy that instantly makes the shopping experience better. She’s incredibly friendly and easy to talk to, and she really takes the time to understand what you’re looking for instead of just rushing you through.
What stands out the most is how attentive and hardworking she is. Haley goes above and beyond—whether it’s helping you find the right size, putting together outfit ideas, or checking in to make sure everything is going well. She makes you feel like you actually matter as a customer, which is rare.

“Huge selection for men and women. Thousands of boots even for bigger guys. Prices are kind of high but theyre reasonable for the most part. The hat bar is amazing with all of the more expensive brands on a wall so you can see them clearly (Resistol, Rodeo King, American, and the Cavenders brand.) Amazing service and the staff is always happy to help. Love coming here!”
“The clothes are very cute and stylish, and I was excited to shop here. However, I found that the sizing seems to run quite small. I normally wear a size large, but their large often fits more like a medium or even a small.
I also have a larger bust (D cup), and many of the tops and dresses appear to be designed for smaller chest sizes. Even when sizing up, the fit in the chest area is still too restrictive.
I really wish the brand offered more inclusive sizing or made their sizing more true to size. The styles are beautiful, but the fit makes it difficult to find pieces that work for a wider range of body types.”

“Oliver is an amazing manager! Very helpful and will always double check for things. Initially was 5 stars and knocked it down because I than interacted with Nicole who was incredibly condescending. The sign indicates 35% off and she tried to assert it was misplaced. Her energy was so negative I was tempted to knock down to one - but she did honor the misplaced sign and honestly Oliver was just great!”
“I like Kohl's it's like a cleaner TJ Maxx and better than Ross in terms of not being picked through. I asked an employee if they had a product in stock that I saw online and she seemed to be so annoyed that I didn't say Hi how are you first. She ignored my question and took a step back and said Hi How are you? While giving me a look of annoyance. I understand I should have made small talk first. It's the south but I guess I just needed to get going. I felt embarrassed. I smiled and said good how are you and then repeated my question. She said no. And went back to work. I turned around and the item she said they didn't have had a stack right there lol. I got what I needed but wish I wasn't scolded for not being more friendly. I really do respect everyone. I grew up working in fast food, retail and childcare. Oh well the lady who checked me out was beyond friendly and helpful as I had 3 separate purchases. She let me know right away to sign up for their rewards program so I can get 20% off.”

“Ross is kinda hit or miss. You can find alot great deals sometimes but the workers can be very nasty at times. The sign said that the opened at 9:30 a.m. The lady said we don't open until 10. I don't care what the sign says. I work here but I ain't the manager. Nasty.”

“Great deals amazing staff. Stopped here to exchange items and I was given great fashion advice. My teenage daughter was ecstatic about the 60% off sale. Lots of clearance items to choose from around the time we shopped. We recieved great value for out money. Also the associates were all very helpful and extremely engaging without being overbearing or watchful. The exchange was delightful.”

“This place was great. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They actually pointed out how the sale was better than I thought and told me about the warranty. I ended up getting more than I intended, but the sale was so good I couldn’t pass it by. The selection and variety of their stock was great. This is how a store should be run. I will be coming back here when I am in the area.”
