“Publix in Madison, Alabama is a great place to shop. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. I stopped in to purchase flowers for my brother and for my brother’s grave, which I regularly do from this location, and every time the flowers are beautiful and well taken care of. I truly like Publix and love Publix as a whole—the feeling you get when you walk inside is warm, comforting, and consistent every visit.”

“Publix Super Market at The Village Shoppes of Madison in Madison, Alabama continues to be one of my favorite grocery stores in the area. Every visit is consistent — clean, organized, and well stocked. You can tell the team takes pride in maintaining the store.
The customer service truly stands out. Associates are friendly, approachable, and quick to help without hesitation. Whether it’s finding an item, answering a question, or checking out efficiently, the service always feels professional and welcoming. That makes a difference.
The produce section is especially impressive — fresh, vibrant, and well rotated. I’ve consistently found high-quality fruits and vegetables here. The store layout is logical and easy to navigate, which makes shopping efficient and stress-free.
Prices are competitive, and the BOGO deals are fantastic. Publix consistently runs some of the best buy-one-get-one promotions in Madison, and it’s easy to stock up on quality items while still staying within budget.

“Was looking forward to be able to shop here again after moving from the mountain west. Love their imported items, and their home items. Got a $40 electric chainsaw last visit that works great. Snack packs are great, although they frequently run out.”
“Nice store. But never has these individual yogurt smoothies in stock.. if they get some I buy all they get if I catch them at right time ( usually 4 or 6 tops)( two flavors). I can't find them anywhere else though. Also I wish they would carry lucky strike cigarettes ?. I live in the neighborhood literally next to the store so I'm in there ALL the time”

“Taylor is MY pharmacist. On Jan 15, we were about 4 inches of snow deep and it was still sleeting. My youngest son (2 yrs old) woke up from his nap screaming in pain (ear infection). Our pediatrician was very helpful and did a virtual appointment and was looking for somewhere to call our prescription in with everything closed. I called Publix, which is our normal pharmacy, and talked to Taylor. He said that they were about to close due to the weather as well. He must have heard the need in my voice, because he said he would wait on me to get there. I got on my bike (yes, my bicycle) and raced there and Taylor was waiting on me. He really showed he cared about his clients. 5 out of 5 stars.”

“This is one of my favorite stores. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The store always has what I need. Every time I go there for a couple of items, I end up leaving with a basket full of stuff. And they have the best clearance items. It's a wreath maker's dream! I was pleasantly surprised at all the cake making and decorating supplies they carry. I find that a lot of their products are cheaper than Walmart. From beer and wine to cosmetics and home deco, I always check this store before going elsewhere.”
“This DG has the best customer service of the ones I've been. A young lady who I think is a supervisor is always extremely helpful and patient - will get her name next time. I was there again two Saturdays ago and she and Caleb helped me through a complex process. They encouraged me not to abandon my purchase and ensured I got settled in the most respectful way possible. They were patient and kind. They both went above and beyond their duties.
If you both see this at some point, please know you made my day a lot better. Thank you so much.”

“The Dollar General on Pine Grove and Wall Triana is a great place to get what you need quickly. You can get food staples, clothes, housewares, pet supplies, and seasonal items. The staff are always friendly even though there are not many of them.”
“I am a huge fan of this location. There were a few quirks before with the reward system that annoyed me at first but that is no longer a problem. They have very cold beverages in the refrigerator, the items you need in a pinch to finish/start a meal and snacks to get you through. The staff has always been friendly to me and now they offers pizza too. Great place to get gas and more.”

They could see I I needed assistance with lifting and finding products I will try to come to this store from now on even though it is out of my way. “Never been in even a truck stop with this level of quality grocery choices that will allow me to reduce my grocery bill while traveling and staying in Airbnbs. The crisis IGA was clean, well organized, had good selections and included the gas station quickie store of cold beverage selections, but also had wine, frozen foods, fresh produce and fruit, typical grocery store selections fir cooking, and even butcher cuts of meats if you're wanting to grill steaks with your wine. I grabbed some smuckers frozen PB&J as week as a hazelnut sandwich which might make a good sweet snack or breakfast. Quick in and out. Pleasant crew. Even outside dining and a sandwich shoppe (Which Wich?) Which I did not stop to checkout, so can't review but looked julienned but short of a true deli, kind of like Arby's has been offering high end options like French dip, ands other sandwiches. All this and gas with bathrooms!.”
“I would definitely give this Kroger five stars. I’ve had such a positive experience here overall.
I recently used their bakery for the first time. I usually go to another well-known grocery store bakery because I love their cakes, but they didn’t offer the Paw Patrol theme I needed. Kroger had more options, so I decided to give them a try.
Before the pickup date, I actually stopped by the bakery in person to touch base about my order. Christy was so helpful and confident that everything would be ready as planned. When I picked up the cupcakes, they actually turned out even better than I had pictured, very cute.
Even at checkout, the associate at self-checkout was incredibly friendly and we ended up chatting for a bit. Every interaction I’ve had has been pleasant.
I also recently had to exchange some expired milk (best by date was 2 days before I purchased but I didn’t notice it), and the process was quick and easy with no hassle at all.
Overall, I’ve consistently had great experiences here and will definitely continue shopping at this location.”

“We stopped by on a Friday night for a great sale, but unfortunately, we couldn't find the product. So we asked a staff member (his name is Dylan), and he went out of his way to check in the back for us and found it! He was so, so helpful and kind, and when I see these amazing people, I think they deserve to be recognized. Dylan, you may not read this, but you are a wonderful employee. 5 stars.
Now, the store—it's beautiful. I normally don't mention how a store is set up, but this one is very well organized. There are helpful employees everywhere. I love how easy it is to get what you need, and not only are you greeted when you walk in, but the cashiers also thank you and wish you a wonderful day or night. 5 stars all around!”
