“Staff is always friendly and helpful. Always looking out to make sure that I have assistance. And most recently, due to a issue with my bike where the pedal arm fell off and I had frozen ice cream, they were able to help me keep it from melting. And fix my bike. This location has wonderful people.”

“Highly recommended for hard/er to find hardware items. Local Go To hardware store for hardware not found at big home improvement box stores. This location on International has “Saved Me” on more than one occasion completing projects with hardware not found elsewhere in Anchorage. If you’re looking for obscure or hard to find hardware, don’t even bother with the big national chain home improvement stores and just go here first. It will save you a trip from Striking out elsewhere. Working in trades, this place is a gem for contractors of all trades. Staff has been great over the years always providing excellent service. Highly recommended! I’ll be back again.”

“They had an amazing array of specialty wood that they can cut to length and sell by the foot. Beautiful slab cuts. And regular wood by the board. Will come back when I need to re-up the carving wood!”

“Great place, so helpful. I was trying to replace my windshield wipers and an employee Allan came out to my car to help! Way better than Lowes or Home Depot where it's really hard to find someone will and able to assist you.”

“I rented a satellite phone from them for my vacation. They were super easy to work with and extremely helpful. They helped me figure out exactly what I needed without overly purchasing. They made delivery and return options flexible and helpful. They delivered it to me in Virginia with two fully charged batteries in plenty of time before my flight. They gave me the option of shipping it back or dropping it off at their drop box at their store. For never having used or rented a satellite phone they gave complete instructions and clear explanation of charges. I ended up buying a per minute plan because I just wanted it in case of emergencies and I ended up not needing it. But I was thankful to have. We drove a lot around parts of the state often without cellular service and knowing that we had a satellite phone for an emergency gave us peace of mind. Thank you for making the entire process simple and convenient.”

“As a Buyer I have been working with Airgas in Anchorage for over 2 decades and they have always been knowledgeable, carry a wide product line and are fast and easy to work with. I recently had an urgent requirement for Welding Gas that needed to ship to remote Alaska and Aaron Reynaga was instrumental in helping us get the order quoted, filled and shipped. The gas arrived a day ahead of schedule and Aaron is great to work with on every order. I highly recommend this branch and Aaron.”

“My husband and I had the opportunity to work with Mike Gorman at Builders Millwork. He is very polite, patient and a very helpful person. His approach is not not pushy, he truly listens and offers great suggestions. Our kitchen cabinets are scheduled to be delivered in March. If you're looking to remodel your kitchen, head over and ask for Mike Gorman. You won't be disappointed.Carol and Kevin Kelly”

“Our family owns and operates New Legacy Construction, Oz Lodge and Seward Saunas all out of Seward, AK. We have completed countless projects utilizing materials purchased from Spenards, and are super happy with the quality of the products. Beyond the products though, we are SO grateful for the outstanding customer service we receive time and time again from the employees; specifically from Gary Cooper. Coming from Seward, it’s imperative that we maximize our trips and Gary has helped us with countless orders even when the unexpected happens and we can’t offer much notice. He’s amazing! Check out our latest project for Seward Saunas!”

“I recently picked up a specialty order item of Transcend Fibrex boards which are not stock items. We were notified as soon as the product came in, and were able to pick up the boards at the North Muldoon Road location. The experience with this Lowe’s location was easy, positive and worth noting because of the excellent customer service. Rose was the Lowe’s employee we worked with and she was extremely helpful! The product was awkward and tightly wrapped, and she jumped right in to help remove the packaging ( at our request). Rose made sure she had taken care of our needs before we left. I was very impressed with her professionalism. Thanks Rose and Lowe’s for making this a positive experience!”

“When I go to Lowe's it's usually for something small , like nails , or something big , like a washer . Of course there is always lots of in between stuff .Lowes's is Big and finding anything can be daunting . Sometimes the hardest thing to find is someone to help you . With that said when I do find someone they are always friendly and helpful . Most of the employees are very knowledgeable about the items in their department . Lowes is also a great place to explore . They have a little bit of everything .”

“Best staff ever!!!! I had a pickup issue which was completely my fault, I didn’t realize the bench I bought was ~150 lbs and didn’t have anyone at that time to help me bring it in my place. I had a few Home Depot staff help me and they were so kind, professional, warm and wonderful people. They helped me set up a delivery date to my condo. I brought my dog inside because it was a hot day and he got so much love, it was better than the dog park! This is def Yukons favorite store now.”

“I like Lowes better. The atmosphere and colors. The bathrooms are better too but Home adept is still a really good and just as an excellent choice. It just comes down to personal preference or which store you have visited more often. They both have the same things. Still a top notch store regardless.”

“Shout out to Levi. Super cool young man, asked us how he could help us and then proceeded to get us 4 bags of sand, load them on a flat cart and then loaded them into the car. If I could guarantee that level of customer support every time, I would never shop anywhere else. Great young man with an excellent personality and work ethic.”
