This location on International has “Saved Me” on more than one occasion completing projects with hardware not found elsewhere in Anchorage. If you’re looking for obscure or hard to find hardware, don’t even bother with the big national chain home improvement stores and just go here first. It will save you a trip from

“I come to this Ace Hardware On Muldoon fairly often I’ve always had a great experience. I went in today, May 19, 2026 at around 4:15 PM and the entire floor staff was amazing. They were answering questions for me and other customers as well as going out of their way to find an item I was looking for and letting me know that they just got the item in and they walked over the warehouse to get it for me. I was so impressed I’m writing this review from my car in the parking lot. I could go back in there and get names, but they are very busy right now. Please tell the three staff members that I interacted with their appreciated!”
“They had an amazing array of specialty wood that they can cut to length and sell by the foot. Beautiful slab cuts. And regular wood by the board. Will come back when I need to re-up the carving wood!”

“I like Lowes better. The atmosphere and colors. The bathrooms are better too but Home adept is still a really good and just as an excellent choice. It just comes down to personal preference or which store you have visited more often. They both have the same things. Still a top notch store regardless.”
