“Tristan helped my husband and I to get a new phone line and new phone. He waited for T-Mobile to give us the transfer pin even though it was close to closing time and it took about an hour and a half to get this transfer pin. He’s patient and understanding. I also got a new phone but ended up getting the wrong case. I will be going back to return this one and get the appropriate case for this new phone. Thank you, hope to see him when I go back.”

He spent over 3 hours with me in store helping me re-set up my account, and get my phones working. I appreciate his help so much. “We recently made a quick stop at Target Tikahtnu to grab toddler medicine. Target South is definitely more organized and put together. Though, Target Tikatnu's children's section is noticeably larger and with more product. I'll have to keep that in my back pocket for future baby showers etc. It's a trek to visit north Anchorage, but that trek may be worth it, in this case.”

“Jacob is amazing I went in today thinking that I was going to lose all of my data on my phone that I need for certain things and he was able to help me figure out how to fix it. This guy goes over and beyond he should get a raise at his job or all of us customers that love how kind and caring he is should give him tips help him out. Cause he deserves to get paid way more than he does. He has helped me out so much when not once but multiple times when I thought all my data was gonna be lost. I gotta be honest I am dum when it comes to eltrics and how to save anything. On my advices. I am so greatful for Jacob and I hope God bless him during this time.”

“Recent claims of racism by management towards customers are poorly founded. As an avid gamer who likes to shop at all the games stops in anchorage, who loves getting gifts, who also has a Native American lineage, I will contest your point of view. Chicotay, Even if your experience was a legitimate experience, this company doesn’t have any financial interest in providing poor customer service. Therefore, your claim isn’t solid. Every time I go there the staff are readily willing to provide me with immediate, relevant selections on gift ideas, console ideas, account discounts and to provide a calm shopping experience. I see lots of Native folks go in these stores all the time. If management saw racism, they would definitely weed it out quickly, but since their management are familiar faces, this suggests that racism hasn’t been an issue in this region. Again, if it was a legitimate experience, that sucks. However I am highly skeptical this took place.”

“You often hear about a supply chain shortage of goods in Alaska, but I have not seen that problem here. This location always has my every day needs, or a very close substitute. You can also buy local Alaskan souvenirs here. The self-checkout is quick and painless.The produce is surprisingly fresh.The curbside pick-up is fast and easy.”

“My husband and I walked in last week Friday to trade in our phones. Robert was the best tech hands down, wasn't trying to haggle you like a car salesman. He genuinely was working with us the entire process. He's was very patient as well since my phone took the longest to transfer. He looked up to see where the best deals was, that were best for us. Thank you so much Robert.I recommended Robert to my parents that went in today to upgrade their phones as well. They had Ayden (not for sure how you spell his name). He was being a car salesman type, he was also not attentive. He picked the wrong phone case size and screen protector sizes which will be returned to the store. Unfortunately they were told that they weren't able to get Robert and the customers are evenly spread across the techs. In a time like this I wish that you guys gave them Robert. My step mom got the 15 pro max and my mom got the 15 pro, he gave my mom the wrong case and neither one of the screen protectors fit my step moms phone. He needs to do a better job at being attentive rather than trying to rush customers at the door to make himself look good.”

“I spent 5hrs total at the Dimond Ctr getting my phone. Thanks to the help of friends and family after finding out that it would have cost 155.00(USD) to jailbreak my old phone.. In hours spent at the GCI store, it was significantly less.(about 1hr) I finally got my new number, and phone(Galaxy A12) TOTALLY professional staff took care of all concerns, and even put up with me returning 3 times. 5 STARS FOR DIMOND CTR GCI!!!!!”

“Dragging my wife to this bestbuy was a hard sell because we’ve had terrible experiences with service and trying to find things that were “on stock” at the Dimond location. We’re pretty chill people so figured it was a one off thing, but it was every time and on several different occasions.When Melvin greeted us at the door with his positive attitude and offered to help us find anything we needed without being asked, we felt way better. He offered to at least point us in the right direction, which was way more human interaction than we’ve gotten in the last 4 trips to dimond combined. When we got to the aisle we were looking for, all of the display headphones worked, and the stock was where it was supposed to be too. Neither can be said for the location down south.It’s worth making the trip for this one even if it’s a few miles further than the south location”
