“Pretty amazing place! Great customer service. Having a hard day ( with or without knives?) Stop by this store to see their products, learn about knives and interact with their super upbeat staff! They will sharpen your wit and your knives while you wait!”

“The best knife shop I have been to in Calgary. Huge selection of both premium and budget knives. Joe was awesome and spent the time to show me a lot of different knives and was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful”

“I recently purchased the Berkeley Ergonomics DUBLIN TwinXL Hybrid Mattress and two FORMESSE Bella Donna Fitted Sheets from The Mattress & Sleep Company in Calgary. I had some years earlier also purchased the matching Berkeley Ergonomics Suspension Foundation for my TwinXL platform bed. All products are superb and the mattress is the very last that I ever need to buy. Its European built and design is modular and it has a zipper which lets me add, remove or replace layers inside the mattress as needed. I have been sleeping on it now for the first week and it is simply delightful. The service provided by Ebonnie at the Calgary store was exemplary. Ebonnie upgraded my mattress with an additional high quality wool blanket without a surcharge! The online prices were exactly as charged and included delivery to Lethbridge. The entire buying experience was totally relaxed, consultative and non-pressure and was conducted by telephone and email. Ebonnie kept me updated on the delivery schedule since the mattress had to be ordered from their supplier in California. It took about 5 to 6 weeks to get it. Since I personally have been to the Calgary store on two occasions some years ago, I can heartily recommend that store and all its staff as very competent and professional! Thank you Ebonnie and all your colleagues for a wonderful buying experience! Werner R., Lethbridge, Alberta”

“I've come here a few times on a few separate trips. as of posting, my most recent time here was in late August 2025. the store has a lot of goods at mostly cheap prices. their dishware is really nice and/or cute, and their affordable matcha-making instruments are a godsend. the cashier I interacted with on my last visit was very nice too. the only reason why I didn't include one star is because this is the only store location in Alberta! I live in nearby Edmonton, and it's really hard to justify coming over to this location unless I'm vacationing in or around Calgary. I know Oomomo is planning to open a store in YEG again, and I really hope they do for easier access.”

“I recently bought two Jellycat toys from this store—they have an amazing selection! After my purchase, I realized my child already had one of the same toys at home. Wendy went above and beyond to help me exchange it. She called me before the store opened and even opened early so I could make the exchange before catching my flight back to Ontario. Her kindness and outstanding customer service turned what could have been a stressful situation into a seamless experience. Thank you, Wendy! I wouldn’t hesitate to shop here again and highly recommend this store.”

“I have been going there for years. I am not a contractor but do lots of renovations on my house. They have been very helpful. And I usually get a pretty good price point anytime I've had something that hasn't been Top quality, as in having a defect, they've been great to switch it out within the aggravation”
