“A little over a year ago Contemporary Bath and Kitchen renovated our kitchen for us. As we have had plenty of time to use and enjoy our kitchen we thought we’d share a review of the quality and workmanship. We are completely happy with our little kitchen. We both love to cook and bake and so it gets a lot of use. The quality is excellent, everything from cabinets to quartz counter tops to the gorgeous granite sink still look like new. We had a small space for the kitchen and Tyler’s design used the space to its full potential. We have so much storage and a large island and yet the kitchen looks twice as big as it did before. Jesse did the majority of the installation and his work is impeccable. Everyone at Contemporary is so pleasant to deal with. Any questions or concerns we had were answered quickly and to our satisfaction. Tyler and Leanne run a great company, we’d definitely want them to do any future renovations we might need.Walter and Rene”

“So I got a stiletto hammer of hillhurst about 10 months ago … I broke my claw from pulling a nail out of a double 2x4. It had a fault in the steel! It had a air pocket. So went in and talk to to guy called mike which he was most helpful and completely understood what happen. He sent the hammer back to the manufacturer and replace my hammer… unbelievable customer service. I would highly recommend going there for any tools.”

“Great experience. I needed a single 256mm cabinet pull for a repair I was doing. The staff looked through their samples to see if they had one in stock that would work, unfortunately they did not but were able to get my order in next day from a local manufacturer for a great price!I noticed they have beautiful wall hooks (part of the &more) that are imported from all over! I will definitely be going back and might even have been inspired enough to make a project out of replacing all our cabinets hardware!”

“Ace Mats are by far the best rug company in Calgary. I clean with my custodial brand interior of buildings, Glass Castle Services and here is what I love about this company. 1. They reply fast on any stains or issues that come up on the rugs as the buildings I clean are high traffic 2. “I had a curt hitch receiver that came with bolts. It stripped upon torqueing according to the manufacture instructions. I went to contact the manufacturer with no help. I called and spoke with Tim G. explaining my issue.I went Bolt supply house and luckily they had the exact same bolt available. Tim was very knowledgeable on the subject, he also found out the bolt only took max torque of 107 lb vs the 110 lbs that the manufacture recommended. I would highly recommend them for your bolt supply needs. They are friendly and eager to help their customers.I went to them again for another bolt issue, this time Dillon helped me out finding the right type of nut for the corresponding bolt. He was very helpful and knowledgeable. I would recommend them to my friends and family.”

One time they had to send a tool to Edmonton for repair, as Milwaukee wanted to see the tool for themselves to confirm warranty coverage, Industrial communicated all information clearly over the phone, and Milwaukee decided to replace the entire tool instead of repairing the old one.”

There was no line-up to get in at the time I went in which is a plus these days.Also, I noticed some items cheaper than at other stores (ex. Small blue propane cans, mower tractor motor oil, ... Almost by 10%)My experience using the washrooms by the garden center was quite interesting though. After flushing the toilet backed up. There was a plunger next to the toilet seat which was convenient but also shows that the store was aware of this problem.I went to wash my hands and the faucet cold tap hand was laying on the sink beside the faucet and the hot tap had no water.I used another skink which worked but the whole faucet was quite loose.Kinda funny because everything they need to fix it is right there on the shelves outside.”

“I came in at 30 mins before closing and purchased 4 windows and wood shims.I had forgot my wood shims in my shopping buggy and i didnt notice until i was home.Called at 758 and Ethan in customer service picked up at 7:59! I had told him i forgot my wood shims , and he asked my where my buggy was and that he would place them at customer service for me to retrieve the next buisness dayHe went above and beyond customer service ! “Okay, so why was this business not on Yelp? It has pretty much everything you'd get at a regular Rona, with a notably large lumber yard out back. Never too busy so the service is good. Better fine grain category signage than Home Depot for sure, so you won't miss the drill bits between the saw blades and battery packs. Most importantly though, there is always FREE POPCORN (self serve), a hold over from when this was a Totem.”
