“This Safeway is one of the best ones. The produce here was very fresh- even the fruit cups- not mushy or raw but perfectly ripe fruit. There's also a larger assortment of fruits and veggies here vs other Safeway. The aisles were well organized as well, and everything was easy to find. All the products were well stocked. The hot deli had so much too choose from as well.Plus, with everything pretty much spread out, the store didn't feel as crammed.Checkout was quick and easy. Had a great experience here!”
“Clean and friendly Safeway in DC Ranch. Slightly smaller than the Safeway stores on Scottsdale road, but more upscale when it comes to meat and liquor selections.
As with all Safeway locations, the staff is friendly. I particularly like the Pharmacy staff at this location.”

“Really like this store (always buy too much), but they need to fix their labeling. So many items cold, frozen, regular, are gluten free, but not marked on the shelf price tags. If you're a shopper looking for specific items, you will miss out. Also, what moron made the "new for you" tags almost the same color as "gluten free"? They could have been purple or blue. Duh.”

“Not a huge fan of Sprouts. However, I just happened to be in there and picked up one of their BBQ seasoned roast chickens. Whoever is making those at the Shea/92nd location needs a raise. I used to only go there for specialty items. Now I will make a trip even if I don't need anything just to see if they have the chicken available. Person actually put salt on the chicken which makes a huge difference while roasting. Thanks to whoever is roasting these chickens!”

• I just deleted a bunch of basically really nice reviews of this Safeway, which is a pleasure to shop at. I needed some space so that I ended up just clearing them all but shopping experience and great customer service.
• The specific purpose of this review is to thank Manager JAMES B, For always wonderful, simplified customer service.
He also ultra impressed me the way he helped me avoid a rain check because he knew something about the product and I can’t get into details but what he did was a genius in my mind and it was the same as waiting with the rain check so big thanks also for his thing he did
Today I went in with a minor difficulty and MADISON Also may just more than easy
You can’t beat the service and personalized check lanes versus other very large unmentioned grocery stores!
I really like shopping at the Safeway everybody’s super friendly and I’ve had experiences in the pharmacy, the meat department and customer service /always good. For about 12 years actually
Honorable mention to Evelyn and the entire Pharmacy department I can’t remember the young man’s name, but he smiles all the time as well as, as well asJAMIE In the meat department and, NICK at checkout as well as Steve self-serve checkout. . oh my gosh, I almost forgot Gabe. I see him all the time!

“Have been going here for a while and I love the vibe of it and it never fails to provide spectacular food! Its produce has organic for reasonable prices and lots of unique and fun brands. Would recommend keeping things in as they tend to get things then remove them soon afterward as a seasonal thing which can be irritating. In general, though I would definitely recommend this place for local shopping and is a go-to whenever the fridge is empty”
