“Trader Joe's has been one of my "go-to" stores since the 1990s. I love the selections offered. My favorites are the individual packaged nuts that fit in my purse or bag for a quick snack. Their smoothies offer a small but delicious quick morning breakfast or pick-me-up during the day. Best of all , they have Kringles from Wisconsin on a seasonal basis. These are the best and go well with my French roast coffee fresh ground beans - coffee. Prices are very reasonable as well.”

I couldn't get the smell out of my nose for a couple of hours. But, I guess I get it in the sense that there's that option? Still. “This has to be the best Fry's I've ever been to! It's huge, well-organized, has room for carts and people to go down the well-lit aisles, and the staff is always friendly from the deli, the cheese shop, hot food, eat counter, and cashiers. The coupon labels always let you know if you need to clip it on your phone or if it's just a 'member' type-in-your number kind of coupon... The store is always clean and the carts are inside right at the front entrance for your convenience. What's not to love?”

“Place is small older building, but when you walk inside it has just about everything you need from Clothing, hat's stylish I must say, to alot of everyday little excesores, Gaming, tobacco item's used for smoking, Liquor, Candy, Groceries, Everyday house use item's, fireworks always have them, Electronics, Pet supplies, all and all Store is fantastic!! “THE BEST COOKIES EVER! The Mexican Wedding cookies are a perfect blend of nuts and flour and powdered sugar. They are the best I've ever tasted. Not too much shortening. Worth every single calorie!! All the gourmet cookie varieties are absolutely amazing and better than my homemade. Which is saying alot!! I recently ordered a huge quantity and varieties for a funeral. Everyone asked me for recipes and when I said they were from the Safeway bakery they were thrilled! Especially wonderful cookies! Great job SAFEWAY BAKERY!!”

“Went for Vicks DayQuil Severe liquid - all out of individual bottles. Oodles of Equate brand, but my wife specifically said “do not buy that!” Ended up with a twin-pack, one DayQuil Severe, one NyQuil Severe.Hate the self-checkout, but with only one cashier open and one at the customer service desk…Found out the only touchless payment method they accept is something called “Walmart Pay” - really? I can’t tap my card? I can’t use Apple Pay or Google Pay?Then the machine did not accept my card, whether swiped or inserted. Tell me why we’re still swiping cards - it’s 2024, for goodness sake!Like the mob used to tell us in the ‘70s: “Whaddaya gonna do ‘bout it, eh?”I ended up at the Customer Service desk. That lady and the one at the self checkout were really nice. Nothing like a nice personal interaction.”

“Great addition to the neighborhood! I've been waiting for a closer grocery store to open, and this place is perfect! I really enjoy the quick meals that are packaged and ready to be cooked for last minute dinner plans. I cook a lot of Asian cuisines, so seeing their spice selection was satisfying since the closest Asian store is almost about 10x farther. I highly recommend using the app to take advantage of the weekly deals.”

“Today was only my second time in here. However, walking in the door, I immediately recognized this store as "Fred Meyer" back where I grew up. Sure enough, walking around I quickly noticed the "Kroger's" name on a lot of products. Honestly, I just felt like home. Staff were cool, although I didn't deal with them much. Looked like there were some good deals at least compared to where I come from. I don't have a lot to compare around Phoenix metro. I'm still very new to the area. Place was pretty clean from what I saw. I will go back undoubtedly.”

“Shaid in the Baker Department is my go to for my kids birthday cakes! I usually go in a week before and show her a few photos of what I'm looking for and she always nails it! Not only do her cakes look beautiful, they are also yummy!! You can even choose fillings like fresh strawberry jam, cookies and cream, and cream cheese! Shaid is so sweet and beyond talented!”

“Had to update this!!!!!! I witnessed a customer yell at the manager for no apparent reason the manager was so calm, cool and collective while the two customers, (couple) had like three buggies full of things that they weren’t even going to buy. They literally just threw everything on the floor walking out yelling at the manager …PLEASE BE KIND TO PPL WHO HAVE TO WORK AND DEALW ITH THE PUBLIC ITS HARD AS HELL….I love this store and I appreciate the manager who works here(Delores ). She is awesome and every time I go there she’s always super friendly and tries to help me out with anything I’ve ever needed. She has patience and is extremely kind. It’s very hard to deal with customers who are difficult I myself can be difficult sometimes yet the cashier her name was Dolores was absolutely wonderful and this wasn’t the first time. She’s always Trying to help out.and I’m thankful I found a bunch of clearance items, and she literally didn’t say one word took her time and that each item by hand and smiled at the end of transaction”

“They are remodeling here! Half thr parking lot is closed at this time to make room for storage during the remodeling. So far produce lighting is brighter, they moved all the name brand breads and tortillas near the entry where the baked goods are, and some shelving units are going higher. I bet that means more inventory! Before the remodel and a little now they have had some amazing clearance prices on items to get ready for the remodel. Self check out is your best bet to check out fast during busy times of the day. That is unless you are like me and you can't get the darn bags open. =) They offer drive up pick up too. I can find more of my staples available at this location than our larger Walmart's in the area. They do not all carry the same items. Have any compliments or concerns? “I have been coming to this Pharmacy location since 2002 and Kevin was the best pharmacist I have ever dealt with. I moved away from this location in 2006 but I still come to this location, even though there is a Safeway Pharmacy less than a mile from my house, because Ann is also awesome her and Kevin go above and Beyond. And now there’s a new pharmacy manager coming in. I hope they’re just as good as Kevin was.”

“Hopefully Jenny is still managing this store. My wife and I have been going here for 9 years. After moving further away, and being closer to the waddell/reems store, we still go to the Bell/reems store. I was there today and noticed the pizza was being served like the waddell store. My wife said she saw the manager from the waddell store there the other day, and not Jenny, yelling at the employees. If she is at this store, I will NOT remain a customer, as she is the reason we don't go to the waddell store. If this store is being run by that manager, save yourself some aggrevation and visit QT at grand and mountian view.”

“All these comments are from 2023. I agree that back then, what everyone is saying here was true. The store was closed most of the time for lame reasons and the shelves were bare. Now they have a new manager. Her name is Christine. The store is ALOT cleaner and the parking lot, free from trash. She always has the store open at 8:00 and she welcomes you with a smile as you walk in.”

“After a segment on Fox 10, I had to see this place in person. I was thoroughly impressed with the selection and prices of all the goodies! I also found the broetchen (rolls) were awesome and authentic as I found in Europe!! I highly reccomend if you want authentic Polish/German meats, this is the place for you!”
