Beth, the owner, is such a kind and caring person which makes shopping there such a delight. Not to mention seeing the shop dog named Toby, is the highlight of my week. He's a hilarious and a perfect mascot to represent Sunflower. I'm comforted by the fact that everything on the shelves are high quality healthy options for my cats and dogs. Great selection whether you're shopping for raw, freeze dried, cans or kibble. Beth will also place special orders for products she doesn't always have in stock. She goes above and beyond to help her customers. I'm happy to support a local business instead of the "big box stores" that dominate the market share without caring about what's healthy and what's not for my pets. Both my big boy Nipper who has since passed away and my new little pup Lucy are/were always happy to see Heidi or Isabella. It’s always amazed me how my good babies would let me do anything to them but trim their nails but would be unbothered and friendly to complete strangers who were doing them.lol All I know is these ladies treat my dogs like I do and my dogs are genuinely happy to see them and that’s enough for me to keep coming back and to recommend them to others.

We had a cancellation after driving almost 3 hours to our appointment and out of the kindness of her heart she squeezed us in last minute. 1211 E Curry Rd, TempeTempe Lake provided a headache-free experience through and through. From making the appointment, checking in, initial examination and follow up Tempe lake's staff were professional, clear and kind. Even our cat (Naia), who is usually extra stressed at and after vet visits, was quick to warm up to them and return to her usual antics when we got home after the exam and treatment!
Comparing with other clinics, even their treatment plans and pricing were meaningfully less difficult and expensive. As our kitty is getting older, we expect her needs will be growing in time, but we are less concerned with being able to afford to get her the care she needs thanks to Tempe Lake.

7520 South Rural Road Suite #A1, TempeWe purchased our puppy 4 years ago and it was recommended that we get her first vaccinations from Dr Bebawy. We were immediately impressed by the doctor and the office. Even though we live over a half hour away, we have never taken our baby anywhere else. She loves the doctor and often breaks away from us as she is being weighed in to run down the halls looking for him., checking at each exam room. Never have I seen an animal so enthused to see a vet! That alone is worth the long drive to this office. The doctor is so kind and we are so confident in the care we receive we can’t imagine taking her anywhere else.

Once we approach within half a mile Max whines and cries elated he gets to go play with friends of his own kind. Again! The staff are friendly and helpful; one of the few Daycare/Boarding facilities Max is comfortable with. In my book that's a win! We have utilized their Daycare, Boarding, and Grooming services all to our satisfaction and within easy driving distance. We have also taken Max for Boarding at the Chandler location a few years ago as well. However, due to proximity, we continue to use this Tempe area more. Thank you Mak Pack!

Marcene fully understands dogs and you can tell she truly has a passion for taking care of animals. I love that the pups don’t get caged and they get to hang with friends all day and night. Prices are extremely fair and I haven’t had a single issue with Grandmas at all. I don’t think I’d ever leave my dog anywhere else but here. The name may leave you wondering, but the food will not. This place is GREAT! The food is on point. The place is clean, and the guy behind the counter tonight was super friendly.
I had The Shipwreck, a little bit of everything in there. My wife had the Chicken Scampi. We split a Sea Czar salad a half loaf of garlic bread and each grabbed a dessert. It was $37 before tip.
Honestly, it was too much food. The portions are more than fair for the price.
We usually make pasta but we each wanted a different sauce so we decided to give the Shark a try. I’m so glad we did.
I only regret not trying it sooner as it’s fast, affordable and 5 minutes from home.
Thank you for the food and the upbeat attitude close to closing time. We’ll be back

Lost Our Home Pet Rescue

My girlfriend and I lost our home in the hottest day AZ, summers we lived in our car with both our cats ( Bombays) both black and very heat sensitive. I was afraid at one point I was going to loose one of them because it was 100 + out and she became so sick. I called Lost Our Home and they told me that because off the homeless with pets that they were full.i was just about to give them up and surrender them and got a call that someone call and canceled that they could take them. They took my baby's in and while we were doing the paperwork they had given them ALL their shots and chipped them and that within the week they would spay them also I was afraid of the cost but was told that it was not going to cost anything so that we could put all efforts it to getting a place for us all to live. They answered my prayers in the golden hour and saved my girls. I can never say how much they helped us I could never repay them for all they did. Lost Our Home is the best thing that my girls and myself could have ever prayed for.

Tempe Sports Complex Dog Park
8403 S Hardy Dr, TempeGorgeous, sprawling dog park with lots of shade, small hills for dogs to run around and interesting spots to sniff. Good amount of dogs at 6am before it hit the 80s. Careful of the mud spots. Lots of green grass and a walk around for owners to get their exercise. Also has a spacious parking lot.

S Mitchell Dr & 9th St, TempeKudos on this one! Ample room for dogs to really run and explore - as well as ample parking. It is always fairly clean and even has some chairs and shaded areas. People and their furry friends are also very nice from our experience there.
Toilets: Restrooms are a straight shot across on the right as you leave the gates. Usually fairly clean.
Dog-friendliness: It's so large doggos stay more busy running around than getting feisty with each other lol
