“Very nice staff - knowledgable, friendly, helpful and because of all the choices, patient as I sorted through several small rugs. They recommended I take 2 different designs and return the one my folks did not prefer, and that was a good call.”

“I have been looking for a set of turquoise earrings to match a ring my husband purchased for me while on a business trip in Tuscon. I was searching stores, and eventually the internet. A set was merchandised on Etsy, by Morning Star Traders. The purchase process was simple and the earrings shipped, and arrived very quickly. I am delighted, as the physical description of size, etc. match what I read. The earrings match my ring perfectly. Thank you for your incredible merchandise, and service.”

“What a wonderful place to shop for one of a kind items. This has become one of my favorite vintage/antique shops in Tucson because of their wide selection . The store has different vendors and everything is nicely arranged. Prices are fair and their customer service is great.”

“Well, I happened to visit during their Christmas market and I'm blown away. Nowhere in Tucson has a Christmas market anywhere near this level. It's beautifully curated, exquisitely decorated, and the staff is so very friendly. There is something for everyone, every style. From vintage to country to nature inspired to whimsical and fun to elegant. Every corner was pure magic to look at and shop. I found several pieces to take home and can't wait to see what else is offered throughout the year. The prices were reasonable. Some better than expected and some higher, but that's to be expected for any curated venue. Highly recommend stopping in!”

“WOW! What a great experience. When customer service in most companies is non existent, THIS business should be the model. Brought my Cuckoo Clock to Ernest because one of the chains came off the cog an 2 of the figurines fell off the platform. Ernst greeted us and came right to the counter to check out the clock. To our surprise he stopped what he was doing immediately and began to work on our clock. Within 20 minutes, he had it running like it was new. He showed us everything he was doing and the correct way to move the clock when transporting. He was upfront with the repair price, which was very reasonable, and had us on our way. If you need any clock or watch repair, look no Further. Ernest is THE BEST!! I will be back with several watches that need some work.”

“It's weird a shop. That doesn't mean bad but be prepared for skulls on vases, plastic toys in glass air terrariums, colorful paintings, funky furniture, and loads more. It's a true treasure hunt for the wild, weird and "What the..". You'll never really know what you're in for but it's guaranteed to be awesome. Just be prepared to wonder around and dig through stuff. A great place to find one of a kind presents for those who don't want candles and socks. I applaud them for embracing all things non-traditional and expected.”

“Two terrific shops - one with Mexican oilcloth (lots of patterns and colors) and various vintage kitchen things, and the other focusing on antiques. I was on a mission for oilcloth and so didn't explore but will return. Very nice owners!”

“Hands down my favorite store in all of Tucson. Every time I go I cannot believe the incredible mid-century modern and artwork collections. Items are constantly changing so I almost always leave with something I never imagined I would find.Penny, Carry, and Jim are all incredibly nice, knowledgeable, and great to chat with even when you're not looking to purchase anything. There's no store quite like it so I highly recommend anyone to stop by.”

“This is large thrift with an equally large amount of donors, which is located just south of the five points intersection. In the parking lot are two roll off dumpsters, where they throw out the trashy donations. Because they do their best to stock their shelves with high quality items. When you walk in the door, you see some free groceries that are offered to the needy. Then you see a sign which states what special 50 per cent deal is on each given day of the week. Then to the right is a large area of nice knick knacks and kitchen ware. Next in the center of the room, they've got an abundance of beautiful used furniture. Against the wall are lots of electronic items, such as TVS, stereo equipment, home appliances, vinyl albums, CDs, DVDs, etc. To the west is where they have their more elegant and higher end merchandise, like artwork or collectibles. To the south end of the store, in the next room is clothing, textile goods and the book area.”

“So fun to walk through. Friendly staff! It's a great place for gifts for friends/family who want a beautiful creative and artistic piece of Mexican culture and southern western style. They have tags on some pieces on where they are sourced. I didn't see anything about fair pay to those individuals but I also didn't ask! I bought postcards for friends and I really loved the cardstock/paper used. Would totally return to get more. If I had more income I'd definitely buy that wooden hot chocolate whisk holder. Loved it!”

“If they don't have it, you don't need it. It's the only place I've found in Tucson that has true vintage pieces older than 100 years. I can't even begin to imagine where they source it all from. Walk around and get inspired. The prices are reasonable too.”

“There is so much in this place. Literally, if you take the time I am confident you can find what you are looking for. It's predominantly furniture which is nice because sometimes it's really difficult to find furniture and you have to hop from place to place. It feels like there is not a ton of knick knacks here, but they are among and in things. If you are looking for a certain piece of furniture or light fixture Toms is your place. I did purchase some pretty porcelain flowers I have been wanting. They were 6 for $45 in "as is" condition. The "as is" part is not noticeable otherwise there is no way I would have paid $45. I highly recommend Toms - the employees are kind and helpful and it was a pleasant shopping experience.”

“I purchased a lovely Navajo bracelet for my sisters birthday. She cherishes it. The Higgins family was so easy to work with and provided insights and options within my budget. I found their website easy to use and the experience in the gallery was amazing. I highly recommend them. They are honest, knowledgable and have really unique inventory! Great Tucson gem.”

“Love this store because I always find something that catches my attention. Service is excellent: they protect your furniture with Saran Wrap, plus extra fabric when loading it onto your vehicle. One time I haggled and got some discount. Overall, 4.85. Support local businesses!”

“While my wife and I shopped one child played pinball and the others rummaged through the 'free gift' mystery basket. We bought an illuminated street sign and the owner, Monica, was kind enough to wrap and ship it to us in Ohio. Love It.”

“I come weekly or biweekly for the vouchure room. I've changed days and the staff has always been very friendly and helpful. They explain what you may get and also have signs saying so. Everything is pretty mixed outside of the women's plus size but, most everything is in good condition. I don't take what I don't need but, I am grateful for I've got.”
