“This is a great little grocery store for the neighborhood. The owner lady seems grumpy and rude (just throws the receipt at you, and grunts). I hope the staff there are getting treated nicer that how she treats customers. All other staff are great. The prices are pretty decent. Everything seems to be 'marked down', but some products are not really a deal, so you gotta do your due diligence. Also, make sure to check the best before date as they have quite a few products that are past the bb date and they sell it anyway.”

“This is my go to market for fruits and vegetables and also fresh cut flowers. Prices are very reasonable, produce is fresh or at a discount. Discounted items are still in good condition. The staff is very helpful and friendly. It is a nice little family run store that is very clean and you can tell the owners take pride in their store. The fresh cut flowers are also in very good condition and last a long time! I love this place.”

“Had a great order from them on Uber eats for pick up. Service was kind and they had a good array of authentic Mexican snacks which were fun to try. Highly recommend the ripe plantain chips which were sweet and crunchy. The store was super well stocked with all sorts of snacks and foods and I would totally go back to try other exotic snacks. There is available parking at the front of the store.”

“I live in this area and their prices cannot be beat. I’d advise anybody to stop here first before shopping at the big grocery stores. I couldn’t believe the difference in price for grape tomatoes, broccoli and cauliflower. . Down the street, at a Big grocery store they wanted double the price. Fresh produce and products. “Aug 18 2024 - this place is always improving their products. Especially when it comes to lactose free products. More please! For example yogurt and mozarella cheese. Customer service is always great.
Love this place and the mini mall occupants are all great places too. Staff are always pleasant and prices are low. Lots of healthier organic options available too. Great deli and bakery. They don't have everything but what store does. Follows guidlines and protocols to reduce the spread of covid 19.”

“The Save On is located at the boarder of Coquitlam and Burnaby. Inside is quite clean. Isles are wide. I like the fact that they do price match so that I don't have to make a trip to Thirty's Food, Safeway etc. One thing I have noticed is how many on sales items they have. They have on sale tag everywhere.”

“Like to come and look at all the dried fruit. Come for organic pomegranate juice. Also fresh fruit. Came again today for vegetable and fruit. Surprised total was less than $10 as easily over $10 at nearby save on supermarket. Bought carrots celery cucumber apples”
“Can the management please ask the delivery truck drivers not to HOOT when they come. We are seniors staying in the apartment just above the delivery place and it’s so annoying when they start hooting even on Sundays. Don’t they have any courtesy.
Management should stop them or we have to report this to city and the environment”

“A recent diabetes diagnosis left me looking for alternatives for things like pancake syrup and sweets. Luckily I found this place while shopping online and discovered they had a physical storefront here in Burnaby. I went on a Sunday afternoon and the place was pretty empty aside from two other shoppers. I picked up maplw flavored syrup, some brand name candies (Twizzlers and Reese's), some flavored low carb pretzels, some pasta and a bag of ketchup flavored pork rinds (from a wall of various pork rinds). I don't normally have a sweet tooth but it's nice to know that there's a place in town where I can pick up a low sugar or zero sugar version of pretty much everything I could ever crave. The staff was friendly too!”
