    “We decided to stop in this lovely local Persian cafe/bakery/grocery store for breakfast this morning as Tim Hortons was incredibly busy, and what a lovely surprise it was. The young lady who helped us at the counter, Sahara (sp?), was very nice, answered our questions about the different breakfast pastries, and made me one of the best lattes I have had in a while. I enjoyed a sesame seed bagel with cream cheese, cucumbers and tomatoes, and my husband had this lovely baked croissant egg and turkey sandwich with an Americano to drink. We sat inside of the bakery and had a lovely breakfast. We did end up wandering through the grocery store, and bought several Persian types of seasonings to take home with us, as I don't know where any sort of Persian grocery store or bakery is where I live in Las Vegas.”

    “Fantastic selection, unbelievable prices, and great overall variety! I absolutely love this market. They carry an impressive selection of items; truly everything you need and so much more. What blew me away during this visit was finding Ahi tuna in stock. Typically, I can only find it at T&T, where it is very expensive (usually around $17 for just 200 grams). To my surprise, Save-On-Foods had a significantly larger portion for only about $5! The price difference and quality were unbelievable. Finding high end items at such fantastic value makes shopping here such a great experience. Highly recommend checking them out!”

    “The staff are great at the Lynn Valley Save-On. The store is clean and bright. It is, however, cluttered with many end of aisle and mid-aisle stands, cardboard displays. It feels crowded. In the main / central aisles, two people going in different directions often need to wait for one to pass - they can't pass side-by-side. This is a great Save-On for picking up ordinary groceries. If you're a real cook, there is a much bigger selection of produce and products at the nearby Park & Tilford Save-On.”

She GENUINELY cares about every customer that comes in and their needs. She is so friendly and has such a positive warm personality. Fatema at checkout is also so happy and welcoming, she is so lovely to talk to leaving the store and makes you leave with a smile. Leika Is another one at checkout just so nice to engage with. There are so many more staff I haven’t mentioned, but you leave grocery shopping with such good energy. Such special people working there make getting groceries an experience that you didn’t know you could have walking into a grocery store. Absolutely look forward to going in to get groceries every week with such amazing people.”

    “I was in yesterday and thought I had accidentally tossed my keys into the plastic recycling bag. I asked for some help, and Jufelia was absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond, helping me dig through the various recycling containers — definitely not a fun job — and even used her flashlight so we could see better. Another colleague also jumped in to help, which I really appreciated. I was so impressed by how willing everyone was to help me solve the problem.     “The family have been shopping at Real Canadian Superstore for just a few years now that the Americans have made it very hard with food prices going up due to tarrifs on everything...so we stopped shopping at Walmart and are very happy with the price of food.meat.etc at RCS. .so now we do all are grocery shopping there.. Have not looked back and even if the tarrifs are removed next year ...we will always be loyal to CANADA”

    Kroger is spending $112 million to build two new stores and renovate 15 existing locations across central and northwest Ohio. The company calls it a "record-breaking" commitment to the region. The two new Kroger Marketplace stores will rise in Canal Winchester and Delaware, Ohio, each costing roughly $30 million to build. Kroger broke ground on the Canal Winchester location on March 19 at the southeast corner of Diley Road and Greengate Boulevard. The 118,000-square-foot store is expected to open in late fall 2026 and will create around 250 jobs.

    Loblaw Companies Limited is putting serious money into its retail network this year. Canada's largest food and pharmacy retailer announced it will spend $2.4 billion in 2026 to open new stores, renovate existing locations and strengthen its supply chain. The company plans to open 70 new stores in 2026. That includes 34 Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix pharmacies and care clinics, along with 31 hard-discount No Frills and Maxi grocery stores. On top of the new openings, Loblaw will renovate another 191 stores and continue construction on a roughly 1.2 million-square-foot automated distribution center in Caledon, Ontario.
