I asked if the bread was fresh, and he said it was made an hour ago. I bought a lot of it, but when I opened the bag at home, it was clearly at least a day old. The same thing happened with another item with the same guy.”

“Newly built/renovated location, and it shows. Friendly staff; strong deli and bakery, and generally feels clean and nice to shop here. The only minor complaint I have is their delicious soup station doesn't always have the soup (I find it is sold out in the afternoon-early evening approx. 1/4 of my visits), and not all the takeaway container sizes are always available.”

“This store has added a lot of Chinese food, including a variety of quick-frozen pancakes, dumplings, dumpling wrappers, dim sum, traditional haggis soup, steamed glutinous rice, etc. Some of the items are even sold out, and the prices are moderate. If its chain stores are as diverse, will be more convenient and better,”

“This place now and on will be my only place to get tomatoes. I have purchased it today (April 14 2023), and took a bite on one of them on the way home, and it gave me full grin and smile on my face. It is so fresh and delicious. It tasted so good that I could taste a bit of fresh sweetness of tomatoes. This place will be my only place for tomatoes from now on.”

“Great store and has been one of my favourites for years! Every staff member is wonderful and helpful. Sure, Andrew can be a little different but he is a very smart, intriguing, caring man. These reviews are so quick to judge and are quite frankly a joke to me, you guys are bullies. Yes he can change a couple things but if you gave him the time of day you might learn something interesting. I shop here, I love being in this store, and I love the service I get. I find the prices fair and the staff knowledgeable.”

“I recently lost my more rewards card. I mentioned it to Maggie at the checkout. She told me to go to customer service and have someone check the lost and found. I thanked Maggie and headed to customer service where Lena helped me. She had 6 cards in the lost & found. She scanned them all and mine was the last one! They were so helpful and just made my day. It's no wonder I love shopping there. They really do care about their customers. They get 5 stars from me!”

“I've been a loyal customer of Ayoub's for a considerable time. Today, upon receiving an email advertising a 20% discount on gift cards, I eagerly visited the store to make a purchase. Regrettably, the customer service representative seemed unaware of the promotion. After showing her the email, she initially agreed to honor it. However, moments later, while I was occupied with my shopping, she informed me that the offer was only valid on December 26th. Despite showing her the email's clear mention of the offer lasting until December 31st and attempting to explain, her response was rude and unprofessional. Her interruptions during my explanation made the interaction uncomfortable to the extent that I felt discouraged from continuing my shopping experience.Update: Following the manager's response to my review, I reached out personally.
