“You can find necessary products there. Cashiers are usually helpful. But I received bad advice twice from a young man who seems to be the owner or manager. I asked if the bread was fresh, and he said it was made an hour ago. I bought a lot of it, but when I opened the bag at home, it was clearly at least a day old. The same thing happened with another item with the same guy.”

“Flagship store in coquitlam. Well worth the visit for anyone looking to get a meal, do some shopping and get their dinner party booze from well informed staff. Great service. And they are a test kitchen so they have items no other save on foods has. One stop shop for everything so I don't have to go to a dollar store, a pharmacy, a take out place and a liquor store and waste tons o gas n fight for parking in many tiny parking lots elsewhere. This week's special is buy 1 get 1 free bacon, and all the items I need for work lunches like shashuka”

“I used to think Safeway was expensive, so until recently I didn’t shop here very often. Lately, though, I’ve realized that the sale items can be great deals, and if you choose carefully, you can shop here quite affordably.

“I get the single serve sizes. Most of what I have tried is pretty good, except for the beef lasagna (too much sauce, runny) canelloni (pasta tough when done in microwave) and pizza. Better quality at Costco (Sabatassos pizza singles and Zanetti Lasagna singles)”

“Great store and has been one of my favourites for years! Every staff member is wonderful and helpful. Sure, Andrew can be a little different but he is a very smart, intriguing, caring man. These reviews are so quick to judge and are quite frankly a joke to me, you guys are bullies. Yes he can change a couple things but if you gave him the time of day you might learn something interesting. I shop here, I love being in this store, and I love the service I get. I find the prices fair and the staff knowledgeable.”
“I recently lost my more rewards card. I mentioned it to Maggie at the checkout. She told me to go to customer service and have someone check the lost and found. I thanked Maggie and headed to customer service where Lena helped me. She had 6 cards in the lost & found. She scanned them all and mine was the last one! They were so helpful and just made my day. It's no wonder I love shopping there. They really do care about their customers. They get 5 stars from me!”
