“This is a new Asian oriented supermarket, but it has a good selection of international flavors. Their black truffle flavor potato chips are addictive. I love the taro cake in a cup..a must try. Staff are super friendly, and the store is well maintained. Chinese style 'burger' is something you must try. Crispy bread with juicy minced pork or beef and dash of cilantro + pepper...yummy!2023 Update:Golden Diamond Pineapple ? now available at Sungiven. The sweet and sour fish filets are so yummy ?I recently discovered this newly opened supermarket, went in and browsed around, and found a lot of treasures. The imperial concubine mangoes from Hainan Island are super delicious. The taste is very similar to Taiwan's native mango. The flesh is very thin. The most amazing thing is its core...a thin slice.Black truffle potato chips... I became addicted to eating them, and I wanted to take a box home several times... hahahaIn addition, the taro box cake is very thin and has a lot of taro paste. You can eat the taro, but it is definitely not made from flour. You can consider making taro birthday cake, it will definitely be a hot seller.Personally, I feel that the variety and quantity of fruits and vegetables in the early Yuan Dynasty may not be as good as those in T&T, but the quality is good. You get what you pay for, I think it's worth it. The family also likes cooked food from the early Yuan Dynasty, such as husband and wife's beef slices.New discovery: The Roujiamo from Yuanchu Delicatessen is delicious, delicious, really delicious! It’s so delicious that I have to say it three times...hahahaThe family meal set in the deli department is really a great value, with two meat dishes and one vegetarian dish only costing $24.99. “I've been a loyal customer of Ayoub's for a considerable time. Today, upon receiving an email advertising a 20% discount on gift cards, I eagerly visited the store to make a purchase. Regrettably, the customer service representative seemed unaware of the promotion. After showing her the email, she initially agreed to honor it. However, moments later, while I was occupied with my shopping, she informed me that the offer was only valid on December 26th. Despite showing her the email's clear mention of the offer lasting until December 31st and attempting to explain, her response was rude and unprofessional. Her interruptions during my explanation made the interaction uncomfortable to the extent that I felt discouraged from continuing my shopping experience.Update: Following the manager's response to my review, I reached out personally. Amir was incredibly understanding and apologetic. Thank you, Amir :)”

“Fantastic store location in Port Coquitlam close to the Costco, and basically on the other side of the street from the Canadian Tire Store.Has a great selection of products from BBQ Sauces and Salad Dressings, and other assortments of Keto Friendly items such as pasta Lasagna and so on.Also they have an amazing assortment of Skinny Syrups for your Coffees, and I know some use it to flavor their water also.I myself picked up a couple of the flavored Skinny Syrups, as they're so hard to find locally at times, other than having to order them directly and have them delivered to your house. Little treat for myself once in a while on the weekends in my coffees.I also picked up a couple of BBQ Sauces that are also hard to find, or simply the other stores are always out of, or simply just don't have what I'm looking for.”

However, there are so many items that are nearing or past their expiration date that I would like them to take better care of it. I understand that it is unavoidable to supply products at low prices, but I wish they would sell products that are close to or past their expiration date in moderation.”

“You can find necessary products there. Cashiers are usually helpful. But I received bad advice twice from a young man who seems to be the owner or manager. I asked if the bread was fresh, and he said it was made an hour ago. I bought a lot of it, but when I opened the bag at home, it was clearly at least a day old. The same thing happened with another item with the same guy.”

“Marine Food Market is a great store in the neighborhood, I envy the neighborhood. There were a snow yesterday and -14C and all people from Marine Drive walk going to 22nd street. If weren't for the store I will not be able to warm up myself and get some water to continue walking. The owner is really nice too and she provided directions as my phone is dead.You'll never go wrong if you wanted to have a snack in the evening because they have plenty of things at the store.Thank you to the owner.”

“Thought it time for an update to this fine, small store in the neighbourhood. I have continued to enjoy shopping there, and over the past while, have tried a few more offerings I thought should be highlighted.Since my last review - I have purchased / tried more of the 'Sher Brand' products they retail. For me, it's been the 'Atta', and '100% brown whole wheat' flours -- and more recently, the basmati rice.For smaller amount convenience, I really like how the store has pre-packaged each of these flours into smaller 4 lb bags. For the rice, with no alternative size available, it was the 10 lb bag that came home with me (no problem, and easy storage).We have used the flours often, and most-recently in several bakings, with very fine results. And the basmati rice has truly been 'on the mark' with package advertising.Along with various spices, tomato sauces, couscous, and such, the store has continued to be an interesting, very productive, and fun place to shop.”

“I really enjoyed my experience here. I wish I had remembered the cashiers name. She was very kind and sweet, even though the store was so busy on Christmas Eve. She was calm, cool, and collected and ensured all transactions went through smoothly. I was in and out within a few minutes.The store itself has a wide range of wonderful products such as fresh garlic bread and banana bread. I always have a very hard time finding banana bread, but this store carries it. The prices are reasonable and not anything over the top. Some products are similar to what other stores carry, and some products aren't. The one really cool thing I saw was the different dog treats in bulk! Great idea! I would recommend checking this store out to see what you can find!”

“Been wanting to go back every time I pass by but just didn't get the chance. Finally went back the other day for main courses and they had a special that day. Different cook and cashier but same friendly service. The meat were tender and rice were cook to perfection. Not soggy and not undercooked. Great portion and the ingredients are fresh. I'm a big eater and I don't usually get full with 1 main course and some appetizers to share, but with their main course alone, I was actually full and had a few bites left that I couldn't finish so my partner had to finish it for me. I think this is one of my favourite halal restaurant in general, and that says a lot because I've had a lot of halal food in vancouver, Cali, NYC, and Taiwan. I still highly recommend everyone to try as it's a hidden gem. Market is very nice too. Had a friend that used to work there but the ownership changed. When my friend had some issues with the previous boss, this new one was very kind to offer some help. Good place, good food, and good people!”

“My Plant Curious plant based deals book had a couple of coupons for Living Tree Foods in New Westminster so I used those coupons and treated myself to a mini shopping spree at Living Tree Foods!They're a small retail store and everything that they sell is plant based. I came home with plant based versions of chicken wings, crab cakes, bagel thins, smoked salmon, cream cheese, ravioli, and chicken pot pie.My husband and I feasted on the Breathe Kitchen Chick'n Pot Vegan Pie, as well as the Living Tree Foods fish free smoked salmon and dairy free cream cheese spread on top of O'Doughs bagel thins for dinner that very same night, and while the food may look quite simple, it was all soooooooooo good! Our Ninja Foodi machine made the prep work super easy too as I was able to cook the Chick'n Pot Vegan Pie in only 20 minutes, instead of 40 minutes as was mentioned on the instructions. Really looking forward to trying out the rest of the goods that I brought home.They've got all sorts of cool foods at their store. I was quite tempted by the Mac n Cheez with Bacon bits pie, the Cheezburger pie, and the Tiramisu.
