Global Pet Foods
801 Marine Dr #200, North VancouverI feel awful that it’s taken so long to write a review about my experience in this store - I had a card with the name of the lovely person who helped me. My toy Hlasa Apso is so picky and difficult to feed and in the 6 years I’ve had him and all the people who have made suggestions - the lovely person at your store had suggestions that actually worked! Every one of the products recommended was a success. I can’t remember the lovely persons name … but I won’t forget how much they helped me get some relief! Thank you Global Pets !!

Paws & Claws Pantry In Edgemont Village (Pet Food and Supplies)
3071 Woodbine Dr, North VancouverThis pet store has everything my kittens need. Prices are the same as the bigger chains. As a new-ish pet owner I have lots of questions and the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. They specialize in healthy food for cats and their selection for dogs looks the same. I often buy bones for my sister’s dogs here as well. Highly recommend !

Paw Street Market
2601 Westview Dr #626, North VancouverEvery time I have visited this store the staff have been so friendly and helpful. In particular, two employees named Chloe and Samara (as well as a third sorry I didn't get her name!) were so kind in helping me choose foods for my cat and answering all of my questions with lots of knowledge. They took their time to make sure I was getting exactly what I needed. It's clear that the owner of this store goes out of the way to hire fantastic staff. Thank you again Chloe and Samara and all of the employees for your awesome assistance. It makes a huge difference to customers.

Man Up Grooming
1083 Marine Dr, North VancouverTotal professional team. I made an appointment at New York Barbers, and they failed to make it to work on time, so after 20 minutes of standing in rain I called Man up Grooming in North Vancouver, which felt like right choice for the moment. Moe cut my hair and I absolutely loved the experience. Thank you for taking me on the spot guys. Highly recommend

The entrance was a bit different but don’t be fooled it’s just to go up without stairs to make it easier for the dogs.I have been trying to find a good friendly and professional place and I found it. I have tried many places on the North Shore and this is by far the best place. So not hesitate to try it and move your business there!

Pet Care
Lonsdale Veterinary Hospital
116 20th St W, North VancouverI miss this vet so much. I moved to Vancouver Island four years ago so I had to find another vet, and I have yet to find one even half as good or caring as Dr.Cichon, I’m still searching… He saved my kitten from the brink of death when I first adopted her, even called the SPCA himself outraged that they’d not only adopt out such a sick kitten, but let its condition go unnoticed and untreated for so long. She recovered under his care and is now 12 and a half. My oldest cat just died of advanced heart failure that went undetected, he was seen by a vet here regularly including just days before, they didn’t notice it, and instead prescribed him unnecessary drugs for allergies that he did not have. I know in my heart that if he had still been seeing Dr.Cichon it wouldn’t have gone unnoticed or misdiagnosed, and that he might still be here, he was always so thorough and took his time to explore all options instead of just jumping to conclusions. Whenever possible he used gentler holistic treatment methods, which my cats and I appreciated. In his heyday, my cat who has now passed on was not easy to deal with in a veterinary environment, I remember him freaking out and pooping on the exam table once, and even trying to attack Dr.Cichon. His behaviour never affected his quality of care, and they were always patient with him and made every effort they could to make him more comfortable. I’m not sure if the same front desk vet techs still work there, but they were always amazing too.

Lynn Valley Veterinary Clinic Ltd
1254 Lynn Valley Rd, North VancouverI feel so relieved and grateful for the expert care given to Gypsy Rose, my dog, by Lynn Valley Vets and staff. Dr. Bratty performed surgery which consisted of removal of a lump on her foot, a lump on her back, removal of a skin tag on her nose and extraction of two damaged teeth. His expertise and professionalism resulted in a successful surgery and a quick recovery. It's been a little over 2 weeks and she's back to her happy self! Dr. Gardner's thorough examination resulted in finding 2 broken teeth, which were missed by another vet's exam just 2 weeks prior. I shudder to think of the pain that she would have had to endure if they were not found.

All About Cats Veterinary Clinic
1550 Marine Dr Unit 104, North Vancouver"I am thrilled with their service; the veterans and staff exhibited patience and gentleness with my cat. My cat, Muffin, had a history of vomiting, leading to multiple expensive emergency visits where answers remained elusive.I decided to take her to All About Cat, where the vet suggested it could be food allergies. Now, she is doing remarkably well, bringing a huge sense of relief.

Norgate Animal Hospital
1435 Marine Dr, North VancouverEveryone here is amazing. Rarely do I get the same vet in a row, but no need for favorites as all the staff are caring and honest. Very communicative about each necessary and optional step in diagnosing and treating my dogs. They're also upfront about the costs and potential risks. I've never felt pressured, and they've never done anything without my approval. I still take my dogs here even though I've moved from the North Shore to New Westminster.

Saffari Pizza
1093 Marine Dr, North VancouverPizza was full of fillings. Minced meat in pizza was a first for me and it wasn’t bad. Mozzarella sticks were a big no. I couldn’t taste cheese in it. Flour was so overpowering the cheese and it ruined the dish. Overall experience was good. Washroom was also clean.
