I can’t recommend this service enough - comfort and convenience at a great price.We adopted our dog a week ago; he was very comfortable during the process and she was very patient with him. It was nice to be able to do yard work and still have him see me for additional comfort. The haircut he received was great!

A Spot For Spot Dog Grooming and Daycare
259 1st Street East Suite 7, North VancouverI'm really impressed! I was recommended here by many people and I am very glad I listened. My very squirmy, stubborn and anxious longhair dachshund is almost 7 years old but has never really needed a professional bath/groom until now. I spoke to the owner before booking and he spent extensive time explaining the process to me and reassuring all of my concerns / nervousness about how my anxious dog would react.
When picking him up after the appointment they explained he got a bit too squirmy to safely trim some areas, but they did an amazing job of cleaning up his grinch toes, even were able to trim his dew claws, and removed all of his matting. I am thoroughly impressed with what they were able to achieve, looking forward to trying again in the future! Thank you!

Many vet clinics make me worry if I am getting the right advice but I felt so confident in the care that was provided by Dr Chipperfield and Dr Shona. Please do not hesitate to take your cat to All About Cats. The Office Manager Christine and the Vet Tech were also so wonderful. They treated me and my sick kitty Luna like family. 146 16th Street West, North VancouverI am so incredibly grateful to have Dr. Kamin as my cats’ veterinarian. He is truly an exceptional veterinarian who goes above and beyond to care for my cats, and it is very clear that he treats every patient as if they were his own.
Dr. Kamin practices excellent medicine, is incredibly thorough and caring, and takes the time to make sure both the pets and their owners feel comfortable and heard. I have complete trust in his medical judgment and genuinely appreciate the compassion and dedication he shows toward my cats every time we see him.
I feel very lucky that my cats have Dr. Kamin looking after them. I am so happy with the care they receive at Happytails Animal Hospital, and I am truly thankful to have such a wonderful veterinarian for my little ones. VCA Canada Highlands Animal Hospital
3044 Highland Boulevard, North VancouverMy kitten Pepper passed away recently, and I took her to this hospital during an incredibly difficult and heartbreaking time. A few weeks later, the hospital called me simply to ask for my mailing address, which I found a little unusual at the time.
Today, I received a small handwritten note in the mail from each member of the staff, expressing their gratitude and offering their kind words. I was genuinely touched by such a thoughtful and unexpected gesture.
I have never come across an animal hospital with staff who show this level of compassion, kindness, and genuine care. During one of the hardest moments for me, they went above and beyond to make me feel supported, even weeks after Pepper had passed.
Exceptional staff and truly exceptional care. I am incredibly grateful to everyone there for their kindness toward Pepper and toward me. I cannot recommend this animal hospital enough. Five stars, without hesitation.

1199 Lynn Valley Road Suite 16044, North VancouverI really can't say enough good things about Danielle and her staff at Treks 4 Pets. They've been walking our dog Timber every weekday for 5 years now and boarding him when we can't be around. Danielle has been absolutely reliable since Timber was 8 weeks old. Her staff are experienced dog handlers and we always know our furry friend is in good hands when he's out. The group sizes are small, and we get daily reports of the walks with pictures and a map which we enjoy reading and often find humorous. The dog walkers are always courteous at pickup and drop off and we feel like they truly enjoy spending time with our dog. The dogs get a solid walk on trail with a fair bit of elevation gain so plenty of exercise, and the groups are matched for energy levels and temperament. They wear GPS trackers so no worries about dogs being off leash. The online booking portal makes booking extra treks or requesting boarding easy. Overall an excellent experience, very highly recommend you entrust your furry friend to this well run company.

Between the pick up, group walk, and group rides home, our dog is often out for 3 hours and comes back super happy and then almost immediately after they leave, exhausted!
Mick and Adam truly care, are incredibly knowledgeable and professional, and make sure all the dogs are safe and thrive. Thanks for taking such good care of W!

Deepwater Micro Eatery
4369 Gallant Ave, North VancouverWe visited this restaurant during our trip to Deep Cove in January 2025 and had a very enjoyable experience. I ordered a fish soup, which was excellent, and it was served with fresh bread. I can’t quite remember what I had for the main course, but I do recall that it was delicious. They also offered a nice selection of craft beers, which we really enjoyed. The gentleman who served us was attentive and friendly — thank you for the great service.
One unique touch was a world map displayed inside the restaurant, where guests are invited to place a pin showing where they are from. I found this especially charming, and of course I marked my hometown, Istanbul, Turkey. They also give you 2–3 stickers as a small souvenir to remember Deep Cove, which was a thoughtful gesture. Overall, it’s a lovely place that I would definitely recommend.
