Woof! Dog Shoppe (KITSILANO)
1905 W 1st Ave, VancouverWe’ve taken The Major to Woof twice for a full groom and a few more times just for nails. The staff have always been great! Our dog is a fairly easy groom (bulldog, so no cutting required) but what I am blown away by are his teeth! They look so good!! Additionally, The Major is happy to go (no stress) and not afraid to be left at Woof, which I take as doggy-endorsement!

Dashing Dogs Dental - No Sedation Dog and Cat Teeth Cleaning
561 Cardero St, VancouverMy kitty had a great experience with Dashing Dogs Dental. She’s very anxious but they took good care of her to gently give her a good cleaning but also do it quickly to minimize the stress and anxiety. I saved a huge amount of money and anxiety by going with them and NOT the vet recommended sedation dental and her teeth are sparkling clean now and gums are healthy. We’ll definitely be making this an annual appointment and I know she’s being well cared for when she’s in their hands.

This was the second place I went to for Charlie’s chipped canine and not only was the service much more thorough and very friendly, it was a lot cheaper than the first place I went to and absolutely worth every dollar. Clearly this crew is very passionate about the well being of our animals and it really showed through in my experience with them. Atlas Animal Hospital & Emergency Vancouver
5696 Fraser St, VancouverMy first visit to Atlas animal hospital was when I brought my son’s husky in for laser neutering. It was a very positive experience. The staff were warm and friendly and the result was fabulous. The Husky healed beautifully without any issues whatsoever. Skip ahead 3 years and I am back again to have my little dachshund laser neutered and microchipped. I live in Victoria BC. I called several veterinarians here and couldn’t find any that did laser neutering. It was important to me that my little dog suffer the least amount of pain and trauma with less chance of infection and heal as quickly as possible. So off to Vancouver we went to Atlas animal hospital. Was the same experience as the first. Wonderful care and the price is amazing!! It cost me less than half the price including my travel expenses than the conventional neutering cost that I was quoted by the veterinarian clinics in Victoria. I took photos of the suture sight 5 days later and emailed them to Atlas veterinary hospital and spoke to Karen who received them and told me the Dr would call me within 1/2 hour. Dr Bhullar called me back in 20 minutes and assured me that everything was looking great and encouraged me to call again if I had any future concerns or questions. Compassionate and professional pet care at a fraction of the cost. I only wish that they would open an animal clinic here in Victoria. Highly recommend Atlas animal hospital.

I was quite worried that he would pick up bad habits from the other dogs at daycare but they keep every dog under control while still allowing play and energy release. I don't worry at all anymore that he will be well taken care of and safe while he is at Noelle's Pet Love! Thank you for caring for our Dog while we are unable to.

Top Dog Canine Training
9079 Shaughnessy St #4, VancouverWe met Jennifer about 6 years ago because we were in need of help with our reactive, high energy, Australian Shepherd puppy. Her classes combined with a home visit made all the difference - and it was us she trained the most. It was an eye-opening experience for us as we learned how to control and anticipate our dog. BTW, we're seasoned dog owners and quickly learned that we didn't really know anything about dog training or reactive dogs.We can walk our dog anywhere now and feel confident that he'll behave. People compliment him for his behaviour all the time!We now have a small dog - a Cavalier - and have just finished Jennifer's puppy class, and it was so great and so much fun. We wish we had done this class with our Aussie!Jennifer's knowledge, patience and passion for dogs is infectious and just so appreciated. We can't recommend her enough!

Marpole Dog Walking & Boarding Service
7210 Hudson St, VancouverI made arrangements while I was in the US to drop off Noodle on a Friday. However, due to mishaps on my accomodations, they immediately took her in as soon as I landed Vancouver. It was a last minute request and they are very nice folks. I will bring my dog to them again. Ken and Yvonne are really nice. When I was picking up Noodle, they felt they were being separated from their grandchild, Ken’s arm on Yvonne’s shoulder as they bid us goodbye. Noodle would climb up to Ken’s lap as soon as he sat on the couch. Noodle became more affectionate when we returned to the US. Yvonne paid attention to the needs of the other dogs as well. Fed 3x a day plus treats and lots of hugs. They are really wonderful! I will bring Noodle back to them on my next trip.

Arturosmexico2go kitchen
8246 Fraser St, VancouverBefore covid I'd go to their truck down by Canada Place regularly but haven't been downtown much since. So when I googled for a new Mexican place I'd noticed at Fraser and 46th Ave recently Arturos also came up on Fraser St tucked away and hidden down in the industrial area, I'm told by the awesome worker there that it's their commissary kitchen for the truck, so it's not really a restaurant but I did notice a communal table with 6 chairs but not sure if that's available to eat there. Had the mucho macho soup, Mexican taco with carnitas and the Mrs. had a chicken burrito. It was all excellent and now the only problem is having this place so close to home with such affordable delicious food we may be in danger of ordering too often ?♂️ good problem to have!!

551 Cardero St, VancouverStopped in for coffee and a chat with a friend. The barista indicated they had Nicaraguan coffee on offer, in either medium or dark roast. Ordered espresso, and suggested my friend try siphon...in particular I was surprised by the espresso, initially was concerned that the mouthfeel wasn't as syrupy as I prefer, but really enjoyed the flavour, which lingered for a good while after. Definitely recommend this spot, and will be back when in the area again...hopefully to try a crepe as well.
