My dog does not like being touched, and I always felt that her former vet did not take enough measures to help her feel comfortable, especially when giving injections.
That’s why I was so surprised and impressed by Dr. Michelle Mak at Richmond Animal Hospital. My dog received two shots and didn’t even react when they were administered. Dr. Mak was calm, gentle, and clearly knew how to handle anxious dogs. The experience was far less stressful than I expected, and it gave me confidence that my dog is in good hands. I’m very grateful for the care and professionalism we received.

I dont trust other vets nearly this much.
Dr Chaudhrys staff are always nice, pleasant and polite and the good Doctor is knowledgeable, helpful, cautious, and rational. I love that hes always straightforward with us.
I moved from Richmond to Surrey but will continue to bring my cats here.

4151 Hazelbridge Way #2792, #2F, RichmondThis is my 2nd visit to Yuan’s Hot Pot — I came back specifically because I had a coupon for 6 free skewers ? from my last visit. Honestly, that coupon alone had more influence over my decisions than my own willpower.
Felt like: “I will return… because destiny (and free skewers) said so.”
Before the food arrived, they gave me a bowl of fresh orange slices ? — very thoughtful. I told myself I’d save them for dessert, and for once in my life, I actually did.
I ordered a soup base with cucumbers, mushrooms, red dates, scallions, tomatoes, and a mysterious root that looked like ginseng but had zero bitterness and full main-character energy.
They asked if I wanted the sauce counter (extra charge). I said no — partly out of budget discipline, partly out of confidence that I didn’t need it.
Added some side dishes like special cucumber and rice, so the meal slowly turned into a full production.
At the end of everything, I realized something important:
I may have eaten hot pot… but I don’t fully remember tasting the broth. ?
Left happy though — mostly because of the 6 free skewers, slightly because of the food, and fully because I successfully turned a coupon into a reason for a whole second meal.

The ambience and service is awesome. People are friendly and helped me to understand the authentic persian food.
We had appies cauliflower dish and eggplant dish with soft persian bread. The eggplant spread with bread is the killer. Must try. Loved it.
The main course lamb shark, prawn biryani and other chicken dish are good. Liked the saffron flavoured rice and well cooked lamb shank. The biryani is also good however it is different from
How Biryani cooked in India food. At the end we had Baclava dessert with persian Chai. I never had such authentic flavourful baclava. It has almost sprinkled on top and inside it is having cardamom flavour. Woow it was mouthful of flavour. Chai is also very tasty.
I would say, eggplant spread with bread as well Baclava dessert is must try at this place.
