“I had some body work and paint correction done at JL Brothers. There was an issue with one of the panels that did not turn out so well. I was out of town for an extended period. So months later i took it back and Richard fixed the panel at no charge. Based on this interaction i was a happy customer. We all make mistakes but making good on those mistakes is what really matters.”

I had to drive out to Dickmond to prepay in person as they wouldn’t take credit card over the phone (but I get it). Glad I did, was able to chat about potential install, etc. Again, Richard very helpful. was in/out in 10 minutes or less.
They called a few days later when order arrived in a timely manner. I live far and was running late in Dickmond traffic. Called in and Richard agreed to wait for me after closing. So grateful that I chose to support a small local business.

“I had an excellent experience with this body shop after my 2020 Mazda CX-30 was involved in an accident. They replaced the damaged parts, did a perfect paint job, and even cleaned the entire car thoroughly. My car looks brand new again!
They also handled the insurance claim for me from start to finish, which made the whole process stress-free and smooth.
I would especially like to praise Zoe at the front desk — she was very polite, always welcoming with a bright smile, and extremely helpful.
Manager Peter Li was also outstanding. He was very efficient and kept me updated on the repair progress regularly, which I truly appreciated.
I would also like to thank their partner company, Enterprise Rental, for providing me with a rental car (a 2025 Nissan Rogue). The car was very clean, new, and comfortable, and it made my time without my own car much easier.

“I was driving today with my 7 month old baby when the engine light suddenly came on with a warning message. It scared me so much, so I asked a body shop I really trust and they recommended this place. I called and asked if I could come in within 10 minutes, and they kindly told me to come right away.
As soon as I arrived, they checked my car immediately and fixed the issue in just five minutes. It turned out to be a very small problem, and they even refused to charge me for the labor. Honestly, I always believed there’s no such thing as free but from start to finish they were incredibly kind, honest, and professional.

“My complaint is not about service, prices or customer care. The guys who work here (Bridgeport) are all excellent. My complaint is what they did to the storefront. Disorganized, ugly and no products. I stop going here now just because of what they did to the store. Who was responsible for this nightmare? Service counter a mess. Buy a product and the guy has to go walk around to a printer and get you a receipt. Debit machine is not where you are standing. Just go look for yourself. Ruined the store.”
“While I didn't buy a particular used vehicle from this dealership that I'd been seeking for over a year, I still had an excellent experience and assistance from Nick Ng. He answered the phone when I called the sales department about the listing for a rare used model and he was genuinely friendly, polite, professional and super helpful. He clearly explained the whole process to make an offer and purchase over the phone as I don't live in the Lower Mainland. I realized later he was working after hours for me and then even later once he was at home (which I never like to do) but he made no mention until he said he wasn't able to confirm something with his manager anymore that day. There was a gap in the Carfax report but he called his colleague who took in the trade vehicle and provided me with some additional excellent information (and it was legitimate and factual, not sales spin). Nick is a gentleman and genuine. He's the real-deal, trustworthy and non-pressure. He operates from a place of respect for the other person and a sincere interest to assist to get what you actually need. I highly recommend him.”

“I've been having a software issue with my car for years now. Two dealerships on the island couldn't help me with an update. Calling into Hyundai Canada was useless, they kept pushing me from department to department, they couldn't even transfer me, I had to keep calling back.
Finally I called the busiest dealership in Western Canada. I got transferred once, put on hold for 1 min and the guy on the other end knew exactly what I was talking about. Unfortunately, Hyundai Canada has stopped offering updates on a '22, despite it having a software update feature, so my car never received an update from factory. But at least the guys at Richmond Hyundai knew their product so well they could answer my question, which took probably a dozen hours of wrong turn through the bowels of Hyundai.”

“Justin and his team have worked on all my cars. They recently found a problem that could have posed a significant safety issue on the vehicle. I was unaware of the problem as the dealership where the car was previously serviced had not diagnosed. I would have been happy to have Overdrive fix the issue but Justin advised that it could be covered under warranty and even reached out to the dealership to verify. Needless to say Justin and his team go above and beyond for their customers and do everything fairly and ethically. 100% recommend!”
