“Had a wonderful experience at HomeSense! The store was very tidy, and the shelves were well organized and nicely maintained. I shop at quite a few HomeSense stores around BC, and I would honestly say this is probably the tidiest and best-organized one I’ve been to. It made browsing so much more enjoyable and relaxing.
The staff were also incredibly hardworking and attentive. You can really see the effort they put into keeping the store clean, organized, and welcoming for customers.
A special thank you to the Assistant Manager, who was very helpful in assisting and guiding me to find the item I was looking for. He knew exactly where everything was located and confidently directed me to the right place. It really showed how familiar he was with the store and its inventory, which made the shopping experience so much easier.

“My wife loves shopping at Winners. However I do have a complaint. I used to be able to sit on a chair waiting for my wife to shop. Being handicapped it was a pleasant shopping experience. Now they took the seating away to my dismal! I don’t think I will take the time to come out to this winners anymore.”
“Visited the store in April 2024 while on a two day layover in Richmond. Very interesting store to visit. Amazing how they fit such a diverse array of products in such a small floor space. One of the female staff asked a few times if I needed help. She was gorgeous! I wanted to take her home, and I think she would have gone, but home was a long way away. I looked at her a few times as I browsed and she looked at me. The store was closing so I made my way to the exit. Connection lost but I often think about her.”

“Big shout out to Kevin and Matthew for helping me with tires for my car again! I must say, they were both a wealth of knowledge, and because I have an odd size, hard to find, they helped me immensely with my staggered setup.
Not only in-store help, but Matthew was amazing with research and following up with a call back, and insisted on helping me further, where I had to stop them from helping me further, mainly from guilt and appreciation of how far above and beyond they were going with their level of service.
As a business owner, I have a high level of service surpassing my competitors, and is nice to see, such a large chain treats their customers on a personal high-level, rather than just a number.
I am highly impressed, and highly recommend them for vehicle servicing needs.”
“I was ticketed in the parking lot AFTER shopping here and was livid. The issue was exacerbated because it was windy that day and the ticket was blown out of my hands. Samson, the manager who i was talking to, was patient, talked me down to a more calm state and told me what they needed to file a dispute for me. Had to call the parking company to get a ticket Id. Another manager had taken the information after my call with the parking service and it seemed there was an admin error and I still got a notice for the ticket about a month later. I called Canadian Tire back but it was later in the evening and the accounting admin team was not available. Called back the next day and got Samson again who took control of the problem and called back with updates until the problem was resolved!
This 5 star review is for Samson, who was patient and professional, but I honestly would not recommend coming here, in a car at least. The parking service here is so aggressive and turned what should have been a simple car chore into a multi-day pain in the butt game of phone tag.
If you were shopping here and got a ticket, ask for Samson, seems not every manager is trained to handle the parking tickets.”

“initially I was a bit frustrated when It called and kept getting the run around. there never seemed to be an associate available. Then I went into the store ( The Home Depot in Richmond) and saw first hand how understaffed they are. The lady in the Appliances division (Velly) was handling that section all by herself. Despite being the only person in that Appliances section, she not only superseded my expectation, but did so in a courteous and professional manner. very impressive. Senior management need to recognize staff like Velly, and also HR has to wake up and shore up the staffing needs of this store.”

“Oomomo Japan Living replaced Daiso here at the Aberdeen Centre this time when I came to Richmond. The store is the same size as before, with two stories and is huge. The decoration is better than the Daiso. However, the prices seem to be a little higher. The store has a very good selection and the layout is easy to navigate. The workers are friendly and helpful. My shopping experience is great!”
